Stopped by for lunch one day after going by the place for 40 years. It is all people write about, good food, atmosphere. Only warning I have is. boy do they pile on the food! Great dish of whole belly clams, sooo good, took a few home. Looked to be the same with other meals. you get your monies worth,... More

That's what it's like eating there. You expect the old crusty captain from Jaws 1 to stroll in for his morning eggs. Good service. Good cape food. Cash only. Offer a non sweetened ice tea please!!! It's 2016! Will stay on our annual visit list.

This is the type of place you want to keep to yourself but it's too good not to share. We have been making a pilgrimage to Capt. Cass every year for longer than I can remember. No pretenses, no credit cards accepted, no liquor license. Bring cash and your own bottle of wine or beer. The menu is written on... More

We have been regulars here for over 10 years and it is simply the perfect place for dinner. Delicious. Consistent. Freshly caught, local fish is picked up by restaurant staff daily in Chatham. But the best part is the staff. Total gems. Lovely people. BYOB. Beautiful Rock Harbor is a lovely place to walk after dinner nearby. Shhhhhh. Don't tell... More

Cute little shack covered with buoys. Great spot for a quick lunch. Bring your appetite because the portions are hearty but the food is great. Fish & chips dish and lobster roll are awesome!

Best fried fish I ever had. The batter was not too thick, was crispy and everything on the seafood platter was fresh and cooked perfect. I had the chowder, which I saw a number of other reviewers criticize. The menu clearly states it is not cream based and the server told me too. Tons of clams in it and it... More

Very small location, open funky hours, but well worth the trip. Service was family friendly, chowder was real New England chowder, and the seafood dishes our family had were fresh and very tasty. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but is amazing on the inside.

One of my favorite places to enjoy seafood on Cape Cod. This is an old building with few amenities, but it serves great food. This is a cash only facility, and you have the option of BYOB.

OMG. I got a combo of fried belly clams and fried scallops. They were the most delicious, freshest melt in your mouth things. The scallops were so tender and flavorful - I've never had scallops that good ---- I didn't know they could be that good. The fried belly clams were also delicious and tender. they were so good. I... and sit in this little spot with blue gingham curtains blowing with the wind. Unpretentious, limited hours(11-2; 5-8) and oh so worth it. Fries, cole slaw and lobster salad roll excellent.
