Food was great, I recommend the burgers and onion rings! The chicken philly was delicious also. Prices are good. Waitstaff was great. A nice little place.

A delightful find for lunch...an old fashioned lunch counter unchanged since it opened in 1926. Great food, basic and fresh. Real jazz playing on the sound system with the joint festooned with photos of jazz greats. When in Pittsfield don't miss it!

Stopped in to The Lantern for a burger and beverage. The place is a old fashion bar which has a good menu. The burgers and fries were delicious. We will definitely go to The Lantern the next time we are in town.

Always enjoy my meal here! I have only sat at the bar so it is always really quick. It's a nice and clean atmosphere-not what you would expect from the outside appearance. It's one of my favorite spots in Pittsfield. I seem to miss it...More
