The cafe serves awesome breakfast. The regular portions are a little large. The banana bread french toast was perfect. It was just the right amount of sweet. While you're there, get a hot chocolate.

Sent here by others for "best breakfast in town" and was underwhelmed. It was basic choices with not much originality. Service was fair and prices were average to high. Lots of seating and great harbor location. Good family stop if you want to stay near the harbor. Can't remember what I ate (kinda telling).

I have had breakfast and lunch at the Water Street Cafe before, but the last two visits were very disappointing. Their signature Water Street salad was half the size of what it used to be. This last visit my mother was served burned 'homemade' corned beef hash not once - but twice - the second time they turned it over... More

This place is wonderful. Free parking accessible via Union or Water Street, and great food. The only down side is no outdoor seating for bringing your pet. Also has a great takeout menu. And no dinner. But at least it is open till 3PM every day.

Good breakfast. We went on a busy Sunday morning. Our food was excellent and service was good. They used real mushrooms in the omelette and the potatoes looked like they were made from fresh potatoes.

We go here for breakfast, so I can't comment on the food for lunch or dinner. The later in the morning you go, the more crowded it gets, and chances are there will be a wait to be seated. They do move the tables pretty quickly (if you're waiting) but they don't rush you while your eating. It's hard to... More

We had breakfast at the Water Street Cafe while visiting the Plymouth area. The service was good. They had a variety of choices. Our food and the cost were average. We had no complaints, but there was nothing to rave about either.

Found this place accidently. Wow! Great service, food, country style. Everything is made from scratch. I ate the breakfast sandwich. Eggs cooked perfectly fabulous sausage patty and Vermont white cheddar. Hubby had perfect pouched eggs and corn beef hash. Perfect. Soooo fresh and tasty. The home fries were exceptional

We are locals and LOVE Water Street. You have to time it right to avoid crowds. Great coffee, eggs, and french toast
