My wife & I have dined at several of the best rated Nantucket restaurants during a one week, post Labor Day getaway. Our favorite meal by a healthy margin was tonight at Chanticleer in Sconset. We both ordered grilled swordfish on a bed of mushrooms...More

My wife took me to The Chanticleer for dinner to celebrate my birthday. This is really a wonderful restaurant and I highly recommend it. The venue is very "old French" and absolutely charming. The service could not have been better and the food was outstanding...More

We went to The Chanticleer for launch on the quite afternoon at the end of the busy summer season. Garden area really looked like and old, charming French restaurant. Service was good, but the food was big disappointment. We started with corn soup. It sounded...More

Had diner with 6 guests and 4 complained of excessive salt used by chef . Wine list was very good . Very expensive. Would not go back . Several very good restaurants exist in Nantucket town center.

Lovely setting in the garden. Very noisy inside, as it gets crowded. Excellent service and outstanding food! We thought it was the most fair prices on the island for what you get. Not a huge menu, but very good!

The Chanticleer has changed from French to a more eclectic menu. The service is superb and the food excellent as well. Indoor dining can be very noisy so outdoors is a good alternative in good weather. Cabs to get there are expensive. Cost us $70...More

Most romantic dinner in the rose garden. We had king salmon and catch of the day. Next time we want to try the burger since it's a must have! Worth all the way! Nantucket prime!
