This place is fantastic for brunch. I always get the superbeasto (a little of everything) and never regret it, but everything my friends have tried has always been good too.

Davis Square just keep getting better! I had never eaten here and was a little apprehensive reckoning this might be a taco joint. On the contrary I was pleased to learn that it specializes in a broad selection of higher-level, imaginatively crafted, and reasonably priced Latin American cuisine. Really glad that I arrived early for dinner as it gave me... More

We had sunday brunch here. We didnt have a reservation but still we got a table in under 15 minutes but we arrived before 11:30. If you plan to visit later I recommend a reservation. This place is popular! I had the morning taco plate and my husband had carnitas cubano torta. Both were flavorful and satisfying after a night... More

My family wanted to go here. Not my first choice. First off, the chairs have exceedingly straight backs and felt uncomfortable for most of the meal. May make the decor... but don't favor the user. Then they bring out these ridiculously small containers of freshly made chips and an excellent salsa. The food itself wasn't as exciting to me as... More

Love getting drinks here but rarely do food. There are better Mexican options in somerville for dinner. The bar space is decent though and chips and salsa are great

I have been the the painted burro countless times and really cannot recommend it enough! The nachos are the best I have ever had, and I really can't go there without getting them! They have the best margaritas and I have tried most of the margs listed on the menu! The tacos are wonderful and their tortilla chips are fresh... More

The restaurant is energetic. Be sure to make a reservation, and don't be surprised if you can't find a parking space. That said, Painted Burro is worth the trouble. The space is unique with fantastic art- even the tables are art. The food was amazing. A wide variety of cocktails made with fresh ingredients. All four of us ate something... More

The street cart chicken was good dish but the chicken itself was pretty dry... The drinks were fantastic though and the staff were all equally delightful. Great selection of tequilas and the location is prime as well - right next to lots of bars to hit after dinner on the weekend. Very pricey though.

The Painted Burro has he best margaritas in town. In fact, they're the best I've ever had. Definitely stop in for 2 because 1 isn't enough. I recommend eating before or after, however, as the food is merely average. Grab a bite elsewhere and then spend your hard earned dough on those awesome margs.
