Better than acceptable coffee in a hip atmosphere. Nice large tables for groups. Only visited a couple of times, but the muffins and pastries were nice too. Closed Xmas day, so I resorted to chain and regretted it as soon as the SB coffee hit my palate. Diesel or Nine Bar up the road (much smaller) would be my espresso... More

If you come at a good time you can get a lovely seat in the window, sit down with some quality tea and an amazing scone, and just hang out - a perfect morning or afternoon in my book. Lunch is good, although it wouldn't be my first choice, and I am assured that the coffee is the best in... More

I've been going to Diesel for over 10 years, and it remains very special for me. The coffee is quite good, especially if you prefer a slightly darker roast on the spectrum of specialty coffee. Their baristas are very skilled, so cappuccinos, chai lattes, and hot chocolates are good orders for the fine foam and nice latte art. It can... More

The Red Sox game was postponed and we had tickets. We wanted to hang out and decided to stop here at diesel cafe for a snack and coffee. The crowd is fantastic and weird. The coffee is awesome and the cookies were super tasty Great place to study too !

Diesel is the place to hang out with a pot of tea, watch locals play pool, order an extra muffin, and listen in on a friendly political debate. A relaxing afternoon hang-out.

I've been to Diesel and had their great coffee and food. Today, because it was hot, I ordered a small ice coffee. It was heaven. Nutty, flavorful, robust without tasting burnt or acidic. It was buttery without tasting weak or like dirty dishwater like Dunkin'. Don't know why I never ordered an ice coffee from them before!

Great place. Gluten free traveler with us was well served and I had pretty much the best club sandwich I ever had. Fresh Lemonade, pool tables, selection of either booths or communal tables. Not the quietest place but plenty of people were sitting around drinking coffee and getting things done on their laptops. Muffins and pastries look great.

Loud, and usually crowded. The coffee is good but it's not a good place for any kind of quiet work or conversation. If you're out with a group of friends or like a lot of background noise, this place is for you.
