The 4 of us went there for lunch; 2 selected the buffet which is great deal - so many delicious choices with soup, salad, and dessert included. We also had General Gau's chicken and Prawns with vegetables. Even the vegetarian fried rice was tasty and colorful with red, yellow (corn) and other hues. Looking forward to trying the Brookline/Harvard St.... More

The lunch buffet is a nice, somewhat upscale Chinese as well as sushi. All items are well prepared in smaller size pans which keeps things fresh. Nice casual atmosphere where you can relax and stay a while.

My wife and I stopped in here after working up an appetite cross-country skiing in Weston. She started with miso soup and I with the hot and sour. Both were very nice. Then there was a very fresh salad with Japanese dressing. My yuen-yang spicy chicken with green beans was delightful. Nice and hot; yet the heat did not overwhelm... More

Sitting at Jin's in Brookline having my wonderful meal for the third time here. It's about the best Chinese and Japanese restaurant in Brookline. Upon entering we were greeted by the friendliest staff, unlike Fugakyu. Spread the word. This place inBrookline is a total Gem. Not to be missed.

I came here for a business lunch and was pleasantly surprised -- i was expecting mediocrity and found a quality Chinese & sushi experience. Against my usual better judgement, I had the buffet, which was very good. Started with soup and salad (both fine) and tried the buffet. It had all of the classics -- Gao chicken, pork ribs, dumplings,... More

The hot lunch buffet has great selections and they tasted fresh and delicious unlike other restaurants with soggy overcooked stir fries. Good sushi selection. Always enjoy green salad with ginger dressing and the hot and sour soup.

We had the Cashew Chicken, General GAO Chicken and Chicken Fried Rice. All were superb and lots more than we should have eaten in one sitting. We couldn't stop ourselves and there was no refrigerator at the hotel. We sat at the bar because there was a short wait for a table. The bartender was knowledgeable and attentive. Would go... More

Fantastic sushi. Highly recommend! I am a 'sushi snob' and Jin's exceeded my expectations. Spotless in a quaint neighborhood , not too far from Newton-Wellesly Hospital

Great, great Sushi/Sashimi! They had a lunch buffet that seemed to be very popular and looked fresh. I wanted to try their Sushi/Sashimi since I have eaten it for the past 35 years all over the globe; this was a true testiment for me. Rock solid! FRESH, FRESH, FRESH! They are creative but next time I would like to invet... More
