This is a much more sophisticated than typical "middle eastern" place. Many salads & soups with Mediterranean elements.

Best Roast Beef I have had. Salads are fresh and good too. Can get loud during lunch time. Can be a little expensive, but worth it.
Cafe Mangal is our "go to" restaurant in the Wellesley area. We can count on consistently excellent food and service. And, we love that its BYOB - great way to pair our favorite wines and save money on the wine bill. They provide the wine glass (and they're good ones - not small, cheap ones), the cork screw and we... More
I dine here often with both friends and family, at least twice per month. The food is excellent, fairly priced and the service is excellent. All of the dishes are tasty and interesting and the BYOB means we get to bring our favorite wine or something new to try out. Make reservations!!
What a charming restaurant!! We loved the elegant, quiet and delicious dinner we had here. While lunch is also good, it is a completely different vibe at dinner. The artichoke appetizer was wonderful. The duck main course was perfectly cooked, and the Shish Kabob was tender and flavorful. Don't forget to bring your own wine/beer as they do not sell... More
Fabulous food and wonderful presentation! A nice touch was the Chef greeting us as we were leaving to ask about our dining experience. Definitely a new favorite restaurant which we'll return to again and again. Ron P
Mangal has been a Wellesley favorite for years and is still excellent. From the fresh warm rolls to the beef kabob and tiaramisu every bite is a treat. It is also byob so this reduces the cost.
This is a small restaurant in the heart of Wellesley, Ma. Good food but not as Turkish related as I thought. The service was very friendly but not too efficient. You do need reservation and do bring your own wine. The offer to give you service for the wine , but they do not sell it.
TRULY FANTASTIC from start to finish!!! Saturday night dinner, last minute reservation- very kind of the restaurant to accommodate. Walked in and felt right at home. Relaxed atmosphere with comfortable lighting and interesting art work. Felt romantic, also thought would be a nice place to bring my parents. BYOB, Chateauneuf- du- Pape Grenache paired perfectly with our order: Turkish style... More
