We very much enjoyed the creative and beautifully executed dishes. The wait staff was great and it was fun to watch the assembly in action. We had 7 full dishes plus 2 extras in less than 2 hours which didn't allow for optimal enjoyment of...this amazing meal. There is only one seating per night so the rush seemed unnecessary.More

The guys at Clean Slate do a great job with an innovative menu of fine ingredients...and seem to really enjoy doing it. There are about 8 courses with each having several separate but complimentary ingredients and flavors. The menu changes monthly..we will be going back.

We dined here once. Artful presentation. Food was good, chef lacked warmth, servers were great, but the price (except for a reasonable can of Cape Cod Red beer) was not warranted. Too much for too little. Some loved it, we were not impressed.

I was so happy to see that my dietary restrictions were not only accommodated but predicted by the chefs. I didn't feel as though my experience was anything lacking from the rest of my party (who were not vegetarian.) Thank you Jason and your staff...for a wonderful evening.More

We don't live in the area but own a Dennis vacation home. We tried this restaurant a few months when it first opened and enjoyed it enough to go back more recently to celebrate a birthday. (An email from Trip Adviser about this place just...popped up and I realized that I never reviewed it). The food was superb. The courses are small but when you add eight courses and an amuse bouche or two, there was more than enough food. The atmosphere is laid back and it is a treat to watch them assemble each dish right in front of you. Considering the effort placed on the meal and quality of ingredients, the price was reasonable. Still, for us at least, it is a special occasion restaurant, but one I definitely recommend. In the 40 years I have been coming to the Cape this dining experience is like none other.More

Birthday celebration for my wife - could not have found a better place! We got a table due to a last minute cancellation (i.e. reserve well in advance) the food was amazing. The Chefs are a scream - open kitchen and they talk you thru...the prep and the dishes. We don't take pictures of food - here we took pictures of the food! The taste and presentation were extraordinary. We opted for the wine pairings and they were well selected and we learned about each one. Truly an extraordinary night out - we will be back.More

One of the best meals we've ever had and that's saying a lot. Wife and I have collectively been to over 15 countries and countless restaurants including many Michelin star experiences. This one is up there. The atmosphere is fun and casual. But dont be...fooled. The food is outstanding. The menu varies but obviously go with the tasting menu plus wine pairing. You wont be disappointed. These guys have a really special place and are obviously talented. It's so fun to watch the various dishes being made. Just like watching mama cook in her kitchen - if mama was a perfectly trained and chef with imbeccible tastes and had a knack for including local flavors combined with interesting styles. You must go.More

Kind of expensive but if you really want to participate in very interesting culinary experience and taste really good food... go for it. The portions ar rather minimal, but after 8 or so different courses, and 2 hours of tasting wine... you won't leave this...restaurant (which from the outside looks like a shack) hungry. Satisfying, unique... More casual than fancy, relaxing atmosphere, close encounters with the cook... A little bit snobby clientele, simple dishes but far from ordinary.More

According to the dictionary, "clean sweep" is "an overwhelming victory" and "the winning of all prizes in a competition," which aptly describes a memorable night of dining in this nondescript, tiny-but-charming restaurant in West Dennis. If you happen to snag a golden ticket and secure...a reservation at one of the 17 seats, fasten your seat belt for a culinary journey of taste sensations (the imaginative use of ingredients and spices is unbelievable), service that is attentive without any dreaded fawning, and elegantly paired wines that left us completely satisfied yet wanting more, more, more. We made our next reservation before we even were served with desert! Although my husband and I have dined around the world (London, Paris, Dubai, Sydney, New York, etc.) at restaurants that reviewers deem five stars, one of our favorite destination spots is now right in our back yard. Cannot wait to return!More

This is not your usual "eating out", this is a "culinery experience". Cozy, casual place run by 2 experienced chefs that provide clean, superb food prepared right in front of you in multiple small courses. You select ahead from 2 choices #1 "all in" or...#2 "vegetarian". It's a smorgasbord of "unique tasting", so sit back and open your mind to trying more than your usual meat, starch and salad! You need a rez and do it early, open all year except Feb. Open most nights in the summer and Thurs-Sat in the winter Two seatings each evening, prix fixe (multi course meal at find price). Don't go! I want a seat every night................... Enjoy!!More

I can't top all the glowing reviews except to say they are right and this was a lifetime experience meal. My favorite was a combo with seared scallop, pork belly with crispy skin, and maple ginger...soup(?, such a plain word) It had strong flavors in...each element that maintained their separation, while also complementing each other. The precision of the many many elements of the dishes is very impressive. Each course has several components and each component has several separate flavors. Each component has precise textures, presentation, colors, etc. A lot of care went into this meal...which changes monthly.More

I’m still there and I have enjoyed the full wine flight, so take this review as you will. This meal was absolutely amazing. All three of us, with completely different palates, loved every course. My father who despises cheese, named the burrata course as one...of his favorites. Every course was delightful and delicious. I was especially impressed that when I called to make the reservation, the person taking the call asked about allergies and our one allergy (mine, to nutmeg) was addressed and accommodated. They gave me an alternative version of the one course that contained nutmeg. Every bite was delicious, and we are excited to come back at a later date. They change the menu once every month.More

My wife came across this restaurant when searching around Hyannis. What a find, with great food along with the concept of seeing the two chefs' make each course, right in front of you. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting something different, that certainly...will be remembered.More

I was looking for a place that had a tasting menu with wine pairing and I found this gem. Dont let the little building fool you. It holds seating for only 18. The 6 course menu changes monthly with ingredients sourced from local farms, and...prepared in front of you. I went alone, but felt like I was part of a party of 17. I chose the vegetarian menu...OMG...similar to award winning Dirt Candy in NYC. I could go on and on, but it's something you must experience. It will not disappoint. All this is created by a staff of 3...Jason and Patrick are the chefs that intermingle with their guests, while preparing and serving the food. And Elena...she does everything else.More

If you’ve ever dreamed of being a “Chopped” judge without the judgy-ness, you will love what they are doing here. It’s an experience, small plates served in courses by the chefs that created them. Menu changes monthly or so. Enjoyed a delicious experience last night....We both loved the fiddlehead ferns cavatelli course. We felt transported and in a magical place. The whole team is there in front of you, showing off what they do best without ego. Thank you for a wonderful time and we will recommend and be back!More

Hello, It is not an actually dressy place, but it is a nice (and not inexpensive night out). My wife and I went business casual and felt right at home - enjoy!
