We ate at some fancier seafood restaurants, but enjoyed this more. The food--mostly fried seafood platters--is amazing. The service is friendly and efficient. While the appearance is unpretentious, the place is clean and neat and the prices are quite good. My wife and I were...so taken with them that we ate there 3 times during our vacation. Definitely a place we want to return to in the future.More
This restaurant was recommended to us by friends who go there whenever they are on the Cape. We had the fried scallops which were served with fries and onion rings. The scallops were very tender and some of the best that I have ever had....It is also possible to order wine with the meals. Although one orders at the counter, the meal is delivered to the table by a friendly server. Nice place and would definitely go there again.More
Not too good. SHrimp way sub par. Not as clean as hoped. There are so many many options in the area. Try elsewhere
Place received many wonderful reviews for fried clams. I looked forward to a tasty whole belly clam plate. Generous proportion but everything was greasy. Onion rings soggy with the coating all flaking off. Nothing was enjoyable especially the clam with bits of shell ugh.
Nothing fancy, paper plates and plasticware. You order at the counter and they deliver to your table. Ordered whole bellies, which came with fries and onion rings(heaping plateful). My wife ordered fried scallops, same thing! Patio wasn't open yet, but view of river was fine....Prices were very reasonable, compared to other local restaurants in the area(clams were $10.00 cheaper than a restaurant down the road). Must have been paying for ambiance and wait staff! Will definately return again!!More
Thank you for your great review. Very happy to hear that you enjoyed your meal!
Best seafood on the Cape. Fresh and delicious and staff are extremely friendly. Fried seafood is sensational. Clam chowder is award winning. A must visit when visiting the Cape. Dine in or take out. Right on Swan River.
Last day of our vacation and decided to eat lunch here. The seafood platter was delicious. Not heavy on the batter. Although the serving wasn’t big, it was still filling. We also had the crab roll and it was very good. All crab meat and...mayonnaise on a roll. So satisfying. Service was fast and servers were courteous. Price was reasonable.More
So many fried seafood options! I got the clams and they did not disappoint. Onion rings and fires are good as well. Food came out quick and service was good. Cool location as well!
Excellent in every way. Food delicious and salmon outstanding. Staff couldn’t be any more friendly. We’ve been coming here for years . Best, fast service fresh fish onion rings .lots of room in dining room and has outside seating.
Had the worst lobster roll I’ve ever had at Kreme N Kone. The roll was falling apart like it was stale and was toasted hours ago. There was plenty of lobster meat but it was bland with little taste. Can’t believe it was fresh lobster...as advertised. Won’t make that mistake again so next time I’ll get a side order of clams but NOT in a roll. The clam chowder was excellentMore
This is one of the first places we go to for food every year when we stay at the cape. By far the best fried seafood plate, delicious onion rings , clam chowder and lobster rolls. Indoor and outdoor seating. You order at the counter...and they bring your food to the table. We will continue to go back every time we are at the Cape.More
My brother and his wife were in town and while we were out and about touring the area decided we needed something to eat. We were on the bayside and so picked a spot not to far away on the oceanside. It was a pleasant...drive and going the back roads avoided much of the summer time traffic. Located at the junction of 134 and 28 in WEST DENNIS (not Chatham) it is easy to find. Lots of parking available. Out door patio dining is available along with indoor and take out. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. We had two lobster rolls, a clam plate and a fish sandwich. Beverages are available form the cooler. Saw a sign that said put beer bottles here but not certain if they sold on premise or if you bring your own. The clam platter comes with fries and some of their onion rings. We ate on the patio instead of taking the food home as fried clams need to be eaten right away. All the dishes were excellent. The staff is courteous and efficient. Be sure to check what you are ordering because some dishes are plates with extras like fries etc while some are ala carte. Rest rooms are indoors and are large and spacious with one for those who are challenged. They take cash and credit cards. This is always a treat and is now another traditional place to go with guests for great Cape Cod seafood.More
Hands down best fried clam plate on Cape. Clean fresh clams served with delicious onion rings and fries. The scallops were also a stand out. Ate here three times during our 5 day stay it was that good.
By far seriously the BEST FRIED CLAMS on Cape Cod. With the feeling of old Tyme Cape Cod, We love the food here and the water view is just the cherry on top!
