I've been going to Harry's since 1981. My brother took me there when he picked me up from college. He suggested a Zippyburger & I was hooked. I still love their Zippyburgers ! I also love their specials & their seafood. I've NEVER had a meal there that I didn't like. It's a former gas station & I can remember... More

We went for the first time, based on neighbors recommendation. It was just ok. We had soup, and less than fresh salad for appetizers. Dinner was a nice piece of broiled fish w veggies and fried whole belly clams for hubby. Both were average. Atmosphere is very worn down and dated. Needs remodeling desperately. Payment is cash only.

Stopped in tonight... time stands still here. Nice crowd, seemed like they were all regulars and had eaten there for years. I did takeout and my rachal sandwich with fries and slaw was very good. The seats at the counter are very low... sat there as I waited for my order. The place stands alone for what it represents. Remember,... More

The booths were all taken; however, a good ole fashioned dinner and a stool at the counter is as good as it gets at a new England dinner. I had an omelette and my friend had eggs and Texas toast. The conversation from the wait staff and the food was exceptional. The menu is overwhelming however if you want it... More

Lots of restaurants in the area but this one had a good Trip Advisor rating so we stopped in for a quick breakfast. Food was good and the service was great.

It's like a trip back in time, this place that time forgot. Walked in and was greeted warmly by someone who looks like my grandma. It was maybe 10 min to 11am and regular menus were not supposed to be served yet but my server was like "What the heck, it's close enough" and gave me the main menu. Read... More

I first visited Harry's 42 years ago. It hasn't changed. The menu is gigantic, the food fresh, fast and fantastic. I used to live near Harry's but moved several years so I stop whenever I am in the area. Their seafood is excellent with the "belly plate," fried clams with the bellies intact (not clam strips which are a mortal... More

Drove half an hour to Harry's restaurant. A small restaurant, waited for 30 mins to get it, but totally worth it.

I'm a sucker for matzoh ball soup and this is one of the few places that has it in the area...and it's good. So, the soup and the old time feel and friendly waitresses keeps makes me a somewhat frequent diner. Matzo ball soup and a Rachel for me on this visit... very good. Remember to bring cash.

We now live in Arizona where clams with bellys are non existant. I have eaten at Harry's for over 40 years, now only on visits, and feel it is a great value. Nothing fancy, good diner food, and friendly waitstaff. I came for the fried clams and got the larger portion which was very generous and cooked perfectly. My wife... More

Description
Welcome to Harry's Restaurant, family owned and operated for two generations. A roadside diner serving some of the best fried clams in Metrowest. Harry's, known as a route 9 hangout, has been around since 1946. The decor is vinyl galore, but you can expect some of the freshest home cooking anywhere around. Stop by and enjoy our menu full of classic American home style dishes. Sure, we get a bit fancy here and there, but only to make the food taste extra special. After all, down home doesn't mean down scale. Harry's " one of the few places serving dinner past midnight " bills itself as "the place for fried clams," and the claim's legit. The clams (both with bellies and the sacrilegious strips) are tender.
