This place is what you would expect, Irish bar setting in a remote area of Wrentham near downtown with some live music. Interior looks like an old dining room in a basement, weird booths and seating. The bar is the big attraction of course with Irish beers on tap etc., however my Sam Adams Oktoberfest was flat. Menu is a... More

Stopped for lunch and was impressed with everything! Great food, service and atmosphere...try the steak tips mixed grill or any of the burgers. You won't be disappointed. No drinking because we were traveling but they do serve Guinness, which would have been a nice addition to the meal. We will be coming back again when we are in the area!

Great pub food and beer. A more extensive wine list would be nice. Live music is usually free and dancing is often an option. Nice cozy atmosphere and decorated with real Irish linens. Real Irish music sometimes and great local bands the rest of the time.

I visited this place with a friend, and I was amazed by the atmosphere and ambience at the pub. The food was delicious and beers were perfect. The great thing was when I visited, a local band was playing the oldies song of Rolling Stones, Eagles and all the other bands. This was the perfect weekend spot I have ever... More

I visited Mr. Dooleys on a Saturday afternoon for lunch after a long morning of shopping at Wrentham Village. Clean, friendly and comfortable the menu is full of great pub like items. All freshly made, per the friendly staff, each item was clearly listed. I chose the steak panini, tender and tasty on a nicely crisp ciabatta roll and home... More

The place is cute and the staff is friendly. I think they have a decent menu. They have live music and trivia which my family has played and enjoyed while eating a casual dinner. Would I like to see a few healthy choices on the menu? Yes, please.

This Pub was originally the Anvil a Hard scrabble working mans pub filled with contractors including yours truly. The change was so overwhelming pleasant I almost cried. The friendly hospitality was special and inviting. A great change. Food looked wonderful but I only sampled the Ales. Place was spotless compared to the old place. 6 dollar burgers on Thursday is... Get the onion rings. You will be very happy you did. They make a get appetizer. The sandwiches were also good.

We have visited this restaurant a few times. We like the live music and all of the events they have during the week. Their Facebook page is always updated and makes the place sound really fun. The food is great - exactly the pub grub one would expect from an Irish place. We're in love with the chips 'n' curry.
