This is a bar and restaurant your parents went to only it's up to date, classy and delicious. Dinner at the bar with the piano or in the restaurant is a classic. Great menu and service and according to the wife, here and Cafe Assisi have the best salad dressing (which you can buy to go). Frank Sinatra & Dean... More

The best kind of trip back in time! I hadn't been here in years. And guess what? They were just as good as I remembered. Old school Italian dishes like pasta bolognese and lemon chciken were cooked perfectly with fantastic bread. Even our side salads seemed extra delicious! Color me nostalgic, but Chef Luciano coming by each table to say,... More

Had not been here for lunch in a while. Had a cup of very good clam chowder and a delicious salad. I asked for a few things different on the salad, spinach instead of lettuce, and avocado instead of srrawberries. All was perfect as was the glass of wine. We stayed for quite a while, but we're not rushed. Once... More

I am the Director of food and Beverage/ Executive Chef for a hotel in Waltham. I came in there on a Thursday night after too long of a wait at Café Assisi. I was seated at a table with a giant whole in the wall!. My server was your typical loud mouthed Italian named Frank, Who kept screaming from across... More

The vast Luciano's near Gilette Stadium and the Rhode Island border with exotic decor, impeccable service and fabulous food evokes the flash and bling of Vegas or New York's Little Italy. There are function rooms as well as tables for two. The prices range from high end in $30 range for veal and seafood as well as just over $10... More

We had a group dinner with 10 people on a Thursday evening. Everything was exceptional! We had the perfect large round table - perfect for conversation. Delicious food and wine. We had two sampler appetizer platters- one with various seafood (crab, lobster, shrimp and clams) and a traditional Italian sampler. Then we had clam chowder which was exceptional! My husband... Luciano's is always a favorite for us for special occasions. We've never had a bad meal here, and the service is always outstanding. The menu includes a wide variety of Italian classics, pasta dishes, steaks, seafood and they always have a large selection of daily specials which make deciding on what you want a tough task. As I mentioned, the... More

I have been to Providence and Boston, and Lucianos is one of the best. Luciano was at the door to greet and seat us. The decor of the restaurant, low lighting, painted murals on the walls, white linen table cloths, give the illusion of fine dining in Italy. The Bread, homemade, and faccio bread homemade with tomatoes and cheese, delish. Had... More

A large, old-fashioned somewhat quaint Italian restaurant; more Italian American and not Italian. I will start by saying that the service was good and there was no sense of rush to turn tables. My Caesar salad was fair, my husband ordered the special fish salad appetizer; one of the clams tasted very "off" to him; we were with friends and... More
