This lovely restaurant was suggested to us by our hosts at the nearby Kings Inne B&B in Yarmouth Port. It was a five minute walk (or you can drive there in 2 minutes). We were seated in the tavern which was perfect for us and had a cozy corner table. Our server Kate was fantastic. The only thing better was... More

We take the satisfaction of all of our guests quite seriously and are especially pleased when we get such high marks from guests of our neighboring Inns. Very rustic. Service was layed back. Unusual menu. Table small for 4. Nothing exciting to go back for.

I am at a loss as to how to respond to this very cryptic review. The Tavern is requested because of its rustic charm and its coziness. Your "layed back" server was more likely being courteous in giving you and your guests ample time to relax and enjoy each other's company. But in 19 years, nobody has ever called our... More

Off-season visit for the Prix Fix dinner was very enjoyable. The food and service were excellent and resulted in a good evening. We ate in the bar area [at a table] and it was very convivial--the formal dining area was a little removed and sparse at that time of year but the bar area was lively. Worth a visit--the stagecoach doesn't... More

Excellent quality food, good service and a relaxed comfortable atmosphere. The staff were helpful and the merlot wine I selected best we tasted in New England.

letour94 - We hope that every diner has an experience similar to yours - a pleasant meal in a relaxed and festive atmosphere. The wines are chosen by Arpad as a labor of love and I have let him know that he received high marks for his Merlot. Thank you for taking the time to post a review. Sheila More

We dined in the Red Room following my mother's memorial service and the luncheon was well recieved by all. The staff was attentive, meals were well prepared, satisfying to vegans, vegetarians and carnivores.

The oldest inn on Cape Cod operating in the same location since 1896. No doubt some back in 1696 were skeptical at naming a new joint the "Old" Yarmouth Inn. But the owners apparently were farsighted. Today's owners are farsighted when it comes to putting a plate before you that pleases both eyes and taste buds. I started with the... More

It is clear that your interest in the Old Yarmouth Inn was a combination of food and history. Having an Inn that dates back to 1696 has brought us history buffs from all over the place. Its amazing to think of the number of people that have walked through the doors in the past 319 years! I am so glad... More

My husband and I are year-round Cape residents and love the Old Yarmouth Inn (we eat there at least one a month if not more). The food is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is quintessential old Cape Cod. The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive. There's simply no other restaurant like it on Cape!

Dinner with 6 family and friends. The Old Yarmouth Inn is incredibly charming, the oldest inn on Cape Cod I believe is the moniker. They have a very good wine list and wines by the glass that pair very well with the cuisine. I had the field green salad, 1/2 dozen Wellfleet oysters and the duck. The oysters had a... More

On the Cape for Labor Day & have gone here twice. The old world charm, pleasant staff, wonderful drinks & superb food make it worth the trip. The Sea foods are scrumptious, get the bisque, good bread = good everything else. They differentiate the experience from the Dining room or Tavern. It has a different menu and I haven't eaten...
