By far the best corned beef my Irish family can find. Been visiting for years and never miss an opportunity to stop in.

On our way back from a conference in Ludington we decided to stop and have lunch because we saw a sign that said Mexican Food. Of the four of us, not one ordered Mexican because there were so many great choices on their menu!! Everyone...of us enjoyed our meal. Our waitress was the only one and she did a great job handling the lateish lunch crowd. She even gave us a little history on the lake when we asked a question. Each of us said we would definitely go back!More

We stopped here on our way home from Kalkaska. There were four of us, two couples. We were a little apprehensive because of the reviews but decided to try it anyway. We were glad we did. When we arrived it was not real busy but...busy enough. There was only one waitress working. She was working the bar and the tables. She came to our table in a timely manner. She took our drink order and food order. Considering there were a couple of large groups there, we received our meal quickly and it was very good. Our waitress was attentive although she was swamped. We would stop again some time.More

Food was good. Service was good. Place seemed like it could use a good cleaning. Would be an awesome view of the lake. If you could see through the windows.

We were in the area for a few days & ended up eating breakfast here twice. Service is great & the wait staff are friendly. Get a seat by the window & watch the blue gills and snapper turtles below in the lake. Special cudo's...to Elaine.More

Nothing great here. Bridget’s voice sounds like nails on a chalk board. I won’t go back! She is rude and crass.

Came in with 8 of us on a Friday evening and were seated immediately. Everyones food was okay....being gluten free and dairy free I cant complain. Not that kind of restaurant to special order. I did get the walleye and asked them to use oil...instead of butter. It tasted good. Biggest complaint is they are situated on this beautiful lake and the windows are filthy. Would take about 2 hours to clean!! And what a difference that one thing would do. Okay...enough!More

My bro and I stopped there on the way to his cottage as we have been there before and although each time it was never as good as the first time, this last time is just that ---the last.. I'm not picking on the waitress...but she didn't know if she was on foot or horseback when asked a question always having to check with someone else, and apologizing for forgetting items you asked for.. Definitely more training was required.. We both ordered a bowl of Vegetable Steak soup which did have steak in it but the vegies consisted of six peas, three carrots, and two itsy bitsy potato pieces, although I cannot deny it did have good flavor.. Next we ordered up a patty melt that had way more bread then patty, was not toasted brown as asked for and not many onions either.. My brothers coffee cup was dirty but the waitress did catch it at the table and fetched a clean one.. At 12:30 the mop bucket replacing the hostess met you at the door along with the vacuum cleaner while the water pipe to the urine trough was broken denying water to flush away the urine.. Gross!! The mustard and ketchup containers on the tables had product boogers at the dispensing point, and should be wiped off occasionally, also it seemed the floor could have been mopped prior to opening and the overall outside appearance was just tired and needed sprucing up.. Looks like they take the money out but do not put any back in..More
