I was visiting friends in the Detroit area to attend a game at Michigan. I asked them about going to some where for breakfast. I always like going to a place that is with a local flavor and not a chain. This definitely hit the mark on that! I had the petoskey omelette which was awesome. What was not to... More

This is a relatively small restaurant. The food is good and the location is good. The wait staff is also attentive.

The flavored challah breads were out of this world! I don't the name of my dish, but it had brie, Michigan's dried cheeries and bacon in an omelet . It was phenomenal! Wait staff is dressed "kooky", and that adds to the charm. Coffee was fabulous and remember, arrive early.....it fills up fast!

This place was recommended to us by friends who live in the area and it definitely didn't disappoint. Do not miss out on the peanut butter stuffed French toast truly amazing. I randomly tried the Brussel sprouts that were also off the charts. My husband said the bacon was the best he ever ate...that says a lot This place has... More

Packed, as always, but that's because it's good. Lots of choices, coffee was good & hot. Sat outside. Our server was friendly & attentive. We had omelettes, which were both delicious.

Never dined here without sitting outside and admiring the fancy cars driving by and the people watching downtown Birmingham. Food is always perfectly prepared and they will accommodate changes to any dish. Breakfast is delicious and served in a "toast" manner, with a twist of this or that and always yummy and fresh. Large portions of quality food. Coffee served... More

Not much to report! I meet a couple of associates and a physician prospect for 10AM coffee on a weekday. I like their outdoor seating venue, ample waiting area, really nice staff. I understand that this place is the "SCHNITZ" in Birmingham, like a harder ticket to get than a Kid Rock concert. Although it was nice, I didn't see... More

The restaurant looks nice and the service was good. We ate outside. Our table of 4 all ordered different things. They all looked good, but none of the food tasted great. I had read similar reviews and didn't want to believe them, but now I do. Unfortunately, the food needs to be good for someone to come back.

Met some people here for a breakfast meeting and it was exactly what we needed. A wide variety of seating arrangements from inside and outside, high tops, low tops, etc. made it easy to get the table we wanted/needed to eat and talk. It wasn't so crowded that we had to wait for a table, but the place was hopping.... More

A slight New York vibe - good for Sunday brunch and visits with friends. Portions are a nice size and food is interesting and well prepared.
