We went here because we were staying at the Dove's Nest B&B nearby and loved the food and the great service.

Breakfast much better this time. Service improved immensely since our last visit. Nice view to sit and look out at.

Very good early dinner in Caro, Michigan at JJ Jamoke's. We both enjoyed the Filet Mignon the was on special. Both came cooked as ordered. We also had fresh salad and a fresh baked bread basket with fried corn fritters that were fabulous. This is the second time in the last year and both visits have been excellent. Highly suggest... Great service from Bailey. I had the veal scallopini, very freshly made and melt in you mouth with fresh mushrooms. She had the New York strip steak cooked perfectly. The fresh corn fritters are to die for. We took some home, yummy. Highly recommend stopping in for dinner if you are out near Caro, Michigan.

Each time we've made the long drive up to caro to eat here we've been disapointed. The first time we came to follow up from our first (satisfactory) experience it was around 8 pm they closed at 9 and refused to serve us after we had already waited about 5 to 10 mins to be seen. She stated she'd go... More

We often stop at Jamokes while passing through Caro on our way to cottage. The setting is lovely and service prompt. We are usually in a rush to get back on the road so we appreciate the fine service. Meal are not spectacular but consistently well prepared and very tasty. Bathrooms are very clean which I appreciate when traveling. Saw... More

After making Valentine's Day reservations for a romantic dinner my wife and I arrived to find that they were doing both reservations and fitting customers without reservations in. That left us with a table right in front of the door and it was terribly cold. When we ordered our entrees I substituted fries for the steamed vegetables. When our meals... More

We have eaten here several times and it's always good. The bread and hushpuppies are delicious, great salads, fresh meat and seafood. Delicious desserts. I just don't understand why the mixed veggies are always way over boiled and turn out mushy. Everything else is amazing, just overcooked veggies.

We were in The Thumb of Michigan for an extended stay and we LOVED it here at JJ's. This was actually the first place had dinner during our stay in Caro. It was our "to-go-to" place not only for ourselves but if someone came to see us and asked to meet for a meal. (We did eat a couple other... More
