Family insisted on going here after dinner~at first I resisted thinking “ no I don’t need desert,”. LOL ! Well I was forced to have some Baclava and can say it’s some of the best I’ve had. It’s a fun experience and I would say...More

Lots of delicious stuff. The place gets slammed during peak hours and the staff is quick and friendly and handle it well. Always seem to find myself in here when in Greek town.

I'll start by saying that my husband had the German Chocolate Torte and it was very good. I had a piece of Strawberry Cheesecake and it didn't taste like cheesecake at all. I've never thrown away a piece of cheesecake until now. The place was...More

We often go to the location in Royal Oak but since we were in the Greek Town area we decided to try this location! We were not disappointed. Not only were the sweets and pastries just tasty here, the staff were super sweet too! Engaging,...More

Stopped in for a coffee and treat for the kids while we were bumming around Detroit. Kids loved the treats and my coffee was truly very good. We will be back!

We always make it a point to stop at Astoria for a treat when we are in Greektown. We are never disappointed. It does get busy and a little confusing sometimes, but it’s worth braving the crowds.

You cannot walk by this place without wanting to walk in. And you cannot walk in without wanting to buy up the store! Yikes! My favorite thing here is the meringues. I have never had them anywhere else, nearly as good. They are crunchy on...More

It’s ok lots of choices to choose from, there are very long lines on the week end. The deserts are very very over priced, and not the best tasting. Maybe because it scams on the butter and the sugar very very European Great atmosphere

Great bakery. Try the mice - the buttercream is amazing . Everything is truly as good as it looks. A destination bakery for sure

Hi there, I did not see birthday cakes and I would just presuppose since they are in the heart of Greektown, that any cakes/pastries will be a Greek type specialty! The balava is delicious, but I don't think you can get a... More
