We always make it a point to stop at Astoria for a treat when we are in Greektown. We are never disappointed. It does get busy and a little confusing sometimes, but it’s worth braving the crowds.

You cannot walk by this place without wanting to walk in. And you cannot walk in without wanting to buy up the store! Yikes! My favorite thing here is the meringues. I have never had them anywhere else, nearly as good. They are crunchy on...More

Astoria in Greektown is a definite place to put on the pounds. All of their sweets are so so good. My favorite is a small fruit tart. I could eat 10 of them if it would not put me in a sugar coma. From cookies...More

It’s ok lots of choices to choose from, there are very long lines on the week end. The deserts are very very over priced, and not the best tasting. Maybe because it scams on the butter and the sugar very very European Great atmosphere

Great bakery. Try the mice - the buttercream is amazing . Everything is truly as good as it looks. A destination bakery for sure

A great place to enjoy pastry treats when in the Greektown area! When eating in the Greektown area skip dessert and go to the Astoria Pastry Shop. The wonderful smells envelop you and the tastes are even better.

Stopped by because my friend had to have a pastry. Though everything looked great there was a sickening smell that prevented me from enjoying my visit. I decided not to make a purchase, just wanted out.

An excellent choice for dessert while in Greektown. The baklava is amazing, but they have a big variety to choose from. Enjoy!

This is an amazing place. I love going here for dessert when no one can make up their mind. They have anything you can think of. The coffee is good too! I go at least once a week!

I was completely disappointed with their customer service. The help at the counter was very unpleasant, the they overcharged me. The manager who agreed to give me a refund was nasty as well.

Hi there, I did not see birthday cakes and I would just presuppose since they are in the heart of Greektown, that any cakes/pastries will be a Greek type specialty! The balava is delicious, but I don't think you can get a... More
