Stopped in for a coffee to go and when I saw the meatloaf lunch special our plans changed. They have regular lunch specials for hat the locals plan on and every one else can get in on the deal. Great breakfast food on the menu...More

Oatmeal cherry pancakes were filling and tasty. Ambiance is typical Midwestern bar, complete with wood paneling and slightly dark interior. Reasonable prices.

Stopped in for a late lunch, and had to wait for a table. A lady, two people behind us, walks in grabs a table because she knows someone who works there, and they let her...rude! The food is good and you get decent size portions,...More

I'm not exactly sure what went down with the lady that was in line behind you, but I can assure you.... it is not Joe's Friendly Taverns policy to give preferential treatment to people our staff knows. Sometimes larger groups in line behind smaller groups...More

During a slow time, Monday late lunchtime, we stopped in for a late lunch. The service was slow, inattentive, and “unaware.” Great burger as usual, but the prices seemed unreasonably high. Maybe still “tourist pricing” from the summer?? A little disappointed.

Casual, local restaurant where it seems everyone knows everyone. They are very friendly and full of suggestions but you can't miss with the burgers. The menu says the chili has a kick and it does-very tasty. Also, the onion rings are delicious and love the...More

Food options in this area are limited. We weren't sure what to expect. The burgers were top notch. Our server was very kind. An all-around great experience following our busy day of hiking.
