I love the greek chicken salad here. Fresh and healthy ingredients. Comes with not too doughy pita bread and the dressing is great. I think it's a healthy choice. Only thing that I don't favor about Anita's is that it's so dark in there at times. I couldn't find my cash in my purse to pay and had to go... More

The falaffel is good as was the grilled chicken. The service is efficient, the crowd eclectic, and the atmosphere pleasant.

When you walk in, you are greeted by the host(ess). As you are seated, you walk past a showcase of wonderful-looking desserts and you make a mental note to take some home with you. The service is friendly and attentive. The menu is almost too much to ponder. You have appetizers, pita sandwiches, lunch and dinner items and everything sounds... More

I'm always skeptical about trying out Middle Eastern Cuisine since I grew up on my grandmothers and cook it myself. I have to say that, that Anita's Kitchen is as close as it can get for me and my friends. Great atmosphere, fantastic food and priced just right. It's always busy, so you may have to wait a bit, but... More

This is easily some of the best food in all of southeastern Michigan. I wife and I went on a Friday night and fortunately did not have to wait. It was St. Patrick's Day with ugly weather and we figured those who were out were somewhere else. We were seated immediately in the busy restaurant. Our waiter, who we've had... More

Anita's Kitchen has become a landmark in the city of Ferndale. The restaurant offers traditional Lebanese/Mediterranean cuisine with a smile. Service, price, and quality are exceptional. My family and I went to this place many times and we've never been disappointed.

I have lived and traveled in the Middle East, Turkey and Greece and was really impressed by the food at Anita's . Great garlic yogurt and a top notch mixed grill plate with even more food than I could handle. Friendly service in a comfortable atmosphere. There are many Mideast restaurants in this area, Anita's is worth the stop

The black bean soup is always a good starter. The flavor is rich and warm and i swear there is a hint of cinnamon in it. My favorite.

We are blessed in metro Detroit with great mid-eastern restaurants ... Anita's Kitchen, since 1981, is not to be missed! Our Mixed Mezza served two for lunch with ample leftovers for at least 2 more dinners. Included: skewers of shish tawook & shish kafta; chicken & beef shawarma; grape leaves & falafel; hummus, tabbouleh, tatteush, kabeese & pita bread!.

Went in for lunch with a friend . Our timing could not have been better as we were seated immediately and had very attentive service. We ordered an appetizer and lunch shortly after. Appetizer of lentils, spinach and goat cheese was served with warm pita bread and was delicious. The chicken shwarma was ok. Everytime I have been to Anitas... More
