I had heard people rave for a long time about the meals at the Bavarian Inn.....the time came to find out for myself. The "all you can eat" chicken dinner was amazing.....most definitely NOT the Colonel's recipe! I ate sensibly, not that I wanted to.....it was SO amazing! A little more pricey than I prefer to spend for a meal,... More

We were really looking forward to returning here to eat after many years. We arrived at 2 pm and didn't wait long to be seated. We were seated in a smaller room with 5 other tables and it was very very noisy. The server was very friendly. We got small chicken dinners. The portion size was good but it lacked... More

Thank you for your review. I'm glad that your service was good on your visit, however I'm sorry that some of the meal was disappointing. It is always our goal to ensure that both the meal and service are excellent and you are happy returning time after time. If we fall short of that goal, we certainly try very hard... More

The restaurant has interesting bakeries, shops, informational posts on walls, and GREAT food. The butter noodles are my favorite! Everyone comes for the chicken, but just between you and me, the sides are what I fill up on. Expensive? Maybe, but you get to eat all you want. And the food is great. So are the servers.

The family style chicken dinner is the best. Lots of good food and a very friendly atmosphere. We love this place!

We only wanted a small meal so we ate in the smaller bar restaurant, the young lady serving was very good, pleasant, but the food was rough, not very hot,and very poorly cooked, had to leave a lot because we could not eat it.

We went with a group of 10 - adults and children. Everyone enjoyed the chicken so much. It's not greasy at all like fried chicken can be. I loved the mashed potato too. However all the other dishes that came with the chicken were overwhelming and not really that good. I think next time I will just order chicken, mash... More

We have been here fairly often over a number of years. They handle an enormous number of patrons with a pretty good amount of finesse. We found our track to being seated to be a little quirky this time. Balancing reservations (we had one) with walk-ins is tricky business. The wait once at our table was a little long. Things... This is a good place to get a brat worst and a beer. German style atmosphere and lots of little shops to buy things in . we went to Franknmuth during the October Fest and the music was good with lots of dancing.we had lunch here and it was good and reasonablypriced.

I had a chicken dinner and my husband had a steak. The chicken was terrific and the steak was okay. The sides were great and although it was family style I cannot imagine them bringing me seconds..there was more than enough to satisfy. We had to laugh at all the food on our table but it was delicious. The only... More

Stopped here for lunch, had the famous frankenmuth chicken plate, it was very good. The bread they give you beforehand is excellent also. Just had to buy some in their bakery. Great place, the men are dressed in liederhosen, hope I spelled that right, atmosphere was great, there was an older lady playing the accordion. Overall good quality food for... More
