We went on Monday at 1:15. Quickly seated. The BEST waitress ever! What a sweetie. My friend ordered off the menu ( well a veggie omelet minus eggs- no problem)!! She said is was SO good. I had an egg beater omelet with onions and light cheese- HUGE plus it came with potatoes AND toast!!!! Love the Westsider!!

Stayed in Grand Rapids overnight for Michigan Tech volleyball game at Grand Valley. Had the Polish skillet and husband had the Cuban skillet for breakfast. Both were yummy. The polish skillet had sweet kraut on top and it was surprisingly good with the potatoes and eggs. The spice was just right for the Cuban skillet.

We wanted to find an out of the way place for breakfast on this trip and found exactly what we were looking for. Really good food, fun servers, and reasonable prices. It is a small place without much room to wait for a table so be patient. Definitely worth the stop.

Best breakfast we've had in MI, period! OMG the #7 was delicious and the portions were huge! My family of 5 ate with lots of leftovers for under $30 and we were stuffed and satisfied. Everything from the sausage to the french toast to the cinnamon bread was awesome:) Glad we made this pitstop on our way to the beach!... More

Get off the beaten path and go local for breakfast or brunch! Great food, good atmosphere. A little off the tourist path, but worth driving into the westside neighborhood. Scrambles are big servings, consider sharing something sweet, like pancakes and an omelet or scramble plate!

We arrived at 11:30 with 6 people. She wanted to put all of us in a large booth, which was not going to work. Not enough room for us to be comfortable Asked to put a 2 top with a 4 top and she refused because it was lunch time. Otherwise food and service was good. Blueberry Muffin was excellent... More

Breakfast places are all the same. WRONG! This cafe surprised me with an awesome polish skillet with a biscuit. My sister had potato cakes, with kielbasa and English muffin bread. All of it was great, but what surprised me was the biscuit. Someone in that kitchen has a touch of southern in them, cause boy was it flaky buttery soft... More

Huge plates of breakfast that all sounded and looked great. All of us were holding our stomachs shortly after leaving. Our assumption was they use a lot of grease in cooking everything. First cup of coffee was so bitter I almost asked for a fresh pot to be made, but we had just sat down and wanted to give things... More

Outstanding across the board. Always my first choice for breakfast. The only problem, they get very busy and they are way too popular! Not a big place but worth the wait. Excellent polish fare too!
