We celebrated Mothers day there and the food and service was great. The kids loved cooking on the rocks. Our server made sure we were well taken care of. Our family had a great time there.

Mothers Day- spouse made reservation. Lady didn't mention it was a buffet😩. It was bad. Lukewarm food. Even saw the waitress bring out a huge pan of short ribs from kitchen. They were not even warm. Never go for the buffet!

One word... DroolFEST!!! Why? Because no matter what amazing thing you order, you look at someone else's plate and drool over it!!! My first visit I did the steak on the rock, MELTED on my tongue!! After knowing what a full meal I had picked,...More

Black Rock has been good to us; we recently had a decent meal with a party of 9 to celebrate a birthday. One of the key things of the restaurant is the size of the side orders with the main dishes; this helps (but doesn't...More

A very unique restaurant well worth going too. Only downsides are it gets really busy at dinner time, and the space around the tables is somewhat limited. I highly recommend any of the steaks, but I prefer the original sirloin. Prices are a bit high,...More

We dined on a Sunday afternoon with a group of five and were seated right away. The service and food was GREAT! For the person who likes to have their food HOT, but not overcooked, this is the way to go. You're able to cook...More

I don't recommend this restaurant for a group larger than four if you hope for timely seating. Although they don't take set reservations they do take priority seating requests for larger parties. This said, my opinion of the priority seating is......It's absolutely terrible. We had...More

Arrive hungry, and only go here if you are a meat eater! Great for families with hungry meat loving teenagers, not for young children. We went as a couple for a special occasion and ordered the 24oz sirloin. It is actually on the menu as...More

This is a unique experience to cook your steak yourself on a heated black rock at your own table. Our waitress, Janice, was funny so I asked if we get a discount for cooking our own food. lol. Order the Crab Stuffed Mushrooms as a...More

We went to Black Rock last night for the first time. Not knowing what to expect, most of us ordered steaks to cook on the stone. We did have a few tasty appetizers, I would recommend the Bubbling Shrimp on the stone. Our waiter explained...More

Just wondering what happened to the spicey jalapeño andouille risotto dish? Something like that anyway, don't remebered the exact name but it was incredible and it looks like it's no longer available. Any chance of a return or a recipe? Please, please, please. Thanks for any info

There is no dress code. It is not a stuffy restaurant. Pretty casual.

Appetizers are around $7-10, entree salads around $12-15, Signature Sirloin on the stone starts at $18, 10oz (I think) with soup or salad & a side... Also comes in larger steak sizes & you can add seafood for an upcharge... More
