The Windmill Personally The Windmill is one of my favorites. The small family run business is always on my map for a good meal. Today when we arrived it was a little busy but we did not have to wait for long. I ordered the hash brown omelet with a cinnamon roll and a bran muffin. The bran muffin is... More

Get there early on Saturday or Sunday morning, killer midwest breakfast, big portions. You won't be disappointed no matter your choice.

Ate breakfast here 3 different times. Waitstaff is friendly and helpful. I like simple breakfasts that taste home-cooked when I travel. Between me and daughter, we tried an omelet, eggs &sausage, pancake rolls, oatmeal and egg sandwich. Loved the food, loved the price. Heard the cinnamon roll was amazing but ran out of time.

This restaurant has history and it's bookend stores are newer. Windmill is vintage like and smaller. There is a bar counter to sit and eat at if you can't get a table. The wait staff was excellent. We had sandwiches on HOMEMADE bread and Very Berry Salad with chickden on top. It was a good, hearty salad that filled me... More

People were lined up outside on a Saturday morning. The food and service did not disappoint. I recommend the "Holland omelet" over the "Hashbrown omelet." Locals and tourists alike filled the place.

Super busy little place! We have never been here...but will come back. My kids spilt a giant philly omelet and they both loved it. I just had an egg white on toast...and it was ok-the homemade bread was messy when toasted, and sliced super thick. I bet it would be great as a regular sandwich! We ate and ran because there... Step back in time... to a neat old style diner with wonderful food ( got to try the pancakes), and fantastic service. Yes, it's crowded, and the locals love it. A Perfect place for a hearty breakfast or lunch.

We ate here the first Saturday of Tulip Time. There was a bit of a wait, but was worth it. Two of us had the French Toast and the third had an omelette. All very good. Amber was our server, very pleasant and efficient. Our service was quick but not rushed. Highly recommend.
