A great place for good food and friendly staff ... Dawn was great with us ladies. The special tonight was the perch and any time you get a nice meal for a decent price you know you've made a great find. I live on the South side of Holland but will make my way to the North side again many... More

The place is packed on TU but the wait is never long thanks to a skilled staff! Only $1 for beef with cheese and only $2 for Great Lakes Perch with delicious cilantro sauce. 2 more authentic tacos, beer and margarita at special prices, sides PLUS a full menu!

The James Street Inn has ample parking and is walker/wheelchair accessible. Efficient and friendly service followed by mouthwatering delicious food at reasonable prices. Perch night on Wednesdays is a big hit.

James Street Inn is a busy and popular place. There is nothing upscale or fancy here. But the service is always friendly and good, as well as the food quality. The menu is extensive. Hamburgers are the best in town. I will recommend this as nice place for locals, and tourists. Reasonable prices also.

The clientele tends toward the retired end of the spectrum. The food is fine and the prices are good. There are specials like "taco tuesday." The restaurant is very casual. Tables are fairly close together. We enjoyed our food just fine. My food came with a basket of "garlic toasts" and very orange spreadable cheese and a pate of some... More

My mother and I attended Tulip Time in Holland and everything downtown was so crowded. I found this restaurant on Yelp and it wasn't far from our hotel. We were pleased to walk in on a Saturday night to get seated right away though the lobby had people waiting. It is a family place and there were at least 3... More

Good food, busy place, friendly service, clean interior, lots of menu options, the locals love it! Traditional entrees are made fast, served promptly, and with good presentation. Noisy inside, all-around average food and service. Good to the last drop!

Stopped at James Street Inn tonight, the place was packed! Do you know what it means if a restaurant is busy? It's great food. Once again, no disappointment here. Hubby and I each had french dip, nothing comes with it, so we each ordered a side dish and it was more than enough. If you like shrimp, the deep fried... More
