We stopped at the Turkey Roost on our way up north for the weekend. The food was hot and fast. The turkey is sliced very, very thin. It's not your thick cut of Thanksgiving turkey. The dark meat was shredded. I've never seen that before but it was good. The restaurant has a 1950's classic diner feel to it. Everyone... More

This is everything Turkey with a couple of beef items. It is very good but I gave it an average as I would like to see a better selection such as different types of salad, maybe pot pie etc.

The in-laws just raved about their Turkey Roost restaurant. They couldn't wait for us all to make the drive and experience this little gem in Kawkawlin! We were extremely disappointed. The turkey tasted like it had been reheated from frozen. The mashed potato and gravy were mushy and lumpy at the same time and flatly flavored. Perhaps the hype was... More

We were a little shy to stop after the mixed reviews but were pleasantly surprised by the tasty breakfast. Half the breakfast would be plenty Now we want to try the pot pie on Wednesday

THIS has the dubious distinction of being the worse restaurant i have ever eaten at in my whole life!!!! Gluey and tasteless mashed, indistinguishable dressing,,,,,,tasteless turkey and horrible gravy. They really should increase the quality.........if it costs people more, i'm sure they would willingly pay! I would not recommend and would never go back!!!!! $8.95? Still overpriced....pigs would not eat... More

We stopped for lunch on our way up north. The service was excellent and the food came out super fast which is great when dining with kids. Great place to stop for a turkey dinner with all the fixings!!

I had heard for years about this restaurant that serves a Thanksgiving dinner every day, but had never gone. My sister and I went today, and we loved it! We had a waitress at our table in seconds, and our meal in about 5 minutes! Super fast, and super delicious! The biscuits were amazing! We will be back!

After hearing rave reviews I was excited to go, we arranged to stop on our way home from Traverse City. The interior was a typical old up north ma and pa restaurant. Not a big deal if the food is good. The turkey plate was just as pictured, a mound of turkey, hiding the stuffing, potatoes, corn, all slathered with... More

You gotta go Daily fresh roasted turkey with all the fixings. Served up hot and fast with a smile. Best part is the price, very reasonable. When you get that Turkey dinner feeling this is the place.

Thank Tom R
