Came to restaurant looking for Mexican Food but this is more of a Tex Mex type of food. For example, no tacos al pastor or tacos in corn tortillas. The food we ordered was average for their type of food and the prices were okay.

You enter and are immediately seated by any one of very polite servers. Chips and very good salsa comes in short order along with a menu. Many different combinations and pre set meals are available. The cheese steak is very good as well as everything else. For a sit down restaurant if your looking for a quick meal the whole... More

I walked to this restaurant from the Holiday Inn (a little over a mile) and was greeted with a friendly server who promptly brought to me their house margarita on the rocks. (I recommend asking for top shelf.) I asked my server what he thought of the "Real Burrito" which he said was "really good". I agree. Very tasty and... More

I always love eating at El Arriero - they start you off with their house made tortilla chips and salsa - always delicious. I got the lunch chicken fajitas with refried beans (normally it comes with rice and beans but I prefer extra beans). The fajitas are served with their house made tortillas. I had lunch with 4 friends and... More

Food came quickly to our group of eight. Seven adults and one child. Beers came out in a tall frosty mug the water glasses were filled regularly and chips and salsa filled us up till the entree's came. We had been quickly seated too on a Sunday afternoon.

Great Mexican place. Food and Drinks are awesome. Everything we had was great from the Tortilla Chips and Salsa to the entrees. Lots of locals and crowded so try this place out. Beer and mixed drinks are a must.

I had the Hawaiian Fajitas. There is supposed to be chicken, steak and bacon in it along with veggies and pineapple. I had only a few very thin pieces of meat and about one inch strip of bacon. I selected a pricier margarita in hopes that it would not be all mix. Well I was all watered down. It was... More

It's nice to see El Arriero at #1 in Kentwood. They deserve it. This is our favorite Mexican place, but you have to be going to it to find it as they are back in a strip mall along 28th St. They are a bit west of Beltline. All the menu is very good. Great fajitas, wonderful tacos (including properly... More
