I wouldn't consider myself a Thai food afficianado (yet), but I do know what I like...this is not the place for me. I'm very sensitive to smells, and the best way to describe my rice was to compare it to a zoo. I ended up leaving it there. Our water glasses were never re-filled, and we were not asked how... More

Been going here for the past few years. This place is VERY busy around lunch and sometimes can seem marginal. Go there early 10-11 or later in the afternoon or evening and you have better service. Even when it dead everything is always hot. I have been around town and all over for travel and there place is the best!... More

A recent visit for dinner gave us a great chance to get our fix for Thai food. Spiciness chart was very good and the quality was very good.

Try their Tum Yum soup if you like a flavorful hot & sour soup that is better than most. The spring rolls are delicious. For a main dish, the pad thai is always good.

First time back after fire restoration...dining areas better than ever. And the Thai food there...best in Lansing area. The satay chicken is served on a mini-hibachi that holds 2 pieces,at a time. With the fresh peanut butter and cucumber salad, wonderful...how satay should be. Had the Geng Gai and savored every bite. Cucumber soup is super. Great food and service.... More

Quick service, we had spring rolls for appetizers. They were very crispy and hot. For the main course the classic pad Thai and gang ped. You could select the spicy level of each of the dishes. The gang ped was my favorite of the two dishes with a great spice, smokiness of the grill and cream sauce.

I've traveled all over the United States and have made it a point to find a Thai place to try. A couple of coworkers of mine kept raving how good this place was and they couldn't wait for it to open back up. Well, they finally opened back up in February 2016 and we paid them a visit. We arrived... More

Nothing fancy in decor, but excellent food! We love thai food and it's especially nice when it's affordable and (apparently) authentic. Although the atmosphere isn't upscale, the service is excellent and portion sizes are fair.

The outside of the restaurant and it's entrance way both scream Bangkok Hut or Bangkok Three Wall-Shed, not Bangkok House. The decor in the dining area is equally unimpressive and mundane, not to mention antiquated and very dusty. That said, the food is quite good. I have visited Bangkok House on at least five occasions and been consistently pleased. The... More
