Sometimes, when you're new to a city, it's hard to find a place which offers your favorite foods, prepared well. This place hit the target! Located on Michigan Avenue, within sight of the Capital's cupola, this little bakery, restaurant and grocery store is at the end of an old building. The interior is simple, and a bit cluttered, but appears... More

We were visiting our sons in the Lansing area and drove by Jerusalem Bakery. We picked up tabbouleh and hummus and pita. Super yummy! We brought it home. Our son loved it and so did we. Very fresh.

The woman behind the counter was happy and friendly, very welcoming. Their food was fantastic. I had the Chicken Schwarma, my friend had the Beef Schwarma. Both were amazing. Their bread is delicious. Great little community store.

We visited Jerusalem Bakery over the weekend looking for a snack. The woman at the counter was very friendly and helpful to two newbies. She suggested the Zatar Pie (to die for). We also tried a meat and a chicken pastry from the table behind the counter (the name escapes me now). Also very good. Those three items and a... More

I see they are offering a lunch menu there now. I have only patronized it as a bakery and for that it superb! Every morning you can get fresh baked goods right out of the oven and still warm! Very reasonably priced and nice people. This place is a treasure!

Everything! Great meat pies, humus, taboulie, homemade bread on site. Has a variety of desserts that make your mouth water.

As with most of my travel recently, I was in town for business and was looking to grab a quick lunch. When you first walk in, it looks mostly like a store and though they do sell deli/grocery items, they will make you a veg or meat sandwich or other dish in short order. I ordered the chicken shwarma and... More

This is our favorite place for fresh pita bread and hummus. We have been coming here for many years and have had many family dinners with the take-out chicken shawarma, salads and pastries. Everything is delicious and I love supporting this small family business

Today was my first time here, and I was quite impressed! I WILL be back. I had a chicken shawarma sandwich and it was delicious. I ordered it spicy.
