Was a wonderful place for breakfast. Loved their French Toast! Great atmosphere. Convenient to our hotel and they open at 7:30 for all the early birds.

I can see why this place is a `locals favorite` - nothing fancy..but good food reasonably priced. Besides, you`re really here for the show.… go EARLY if you want a place to sit..especially on the weekend. I recommend sitting at the bar in front of the grille....so you can watch the MISTRO at work. Using his spatula as a baton... More

My wife and I recently made our annual trip to Mackinac Island to relax and bike ride around the Island. Eating is something else that we love to do and our hands down favorite place on the Island is the Chuckwagon. Donny and Sharon run the restaurant and are just great, down to earth people. Donny is on the grill... More

I don't know how this place gets such good reviews. I ordered breakfast. 2 pancakes (the only decent part of the meal) tough ham, sausage, 2 very undercooked eggs, and greasy, slimy hash browns are all piled on one small plate. Opens at noon, get in line early for the best burgers, service is pleasant & quick. We ordered take out, didn't take long at all. Would definitely eat there again.

My husband and I dream about coming back here anytime we visit the island. the burgers are amazing-especially the olive burger. Their breakfasts are fantastic and both are very reasonably priced!!! The waitresses are starting to recognize us from... More

True diner feel. Amazing coffee. Attentive service. Generous portions. Perfect breakfast fare. Don't be put off by the size -- quick turnover. Clearly a favorite of locals.

The Chuckwagon breakfast special is the best deal on the island! Affordable and very tasty and always a pleasure to watch Donny create food memories!
