We made our annual visit in October and it took three tries to see our friend John Nash at the Seabiscuit! He is the heart and soul of the place (as you can see from the other reviews) but under the new management, his hours...More

The staff of the Seabiscuit absolutely have a great reputation for never having met a stranger. When the crowds dwindle in October it's important for the staff to share hours to ensure everyone is able to make a living and we are lucky to have...More

Stopped in here for dinner - nice place with a good menu. Think we stopped because we read somewhere they had lobsters but we found out it was more of an in season thing.

We are so glad that you decided to stop in. Our menu does change with the season due to the availability of ingredients as well as traffic fluctuations. Using only the freshest ingredients is important to us.

Attentive service, excellent menu, personable wait staff, engaging bartender.....all make for an inviting spot right on Main Street. Prices are reasonable for everything served.

My daughter and I went here for breakfast and both had the chorizo breakfast burrito. It was delicious. The service was great and I had the BEST Irish Coffee I have ever had! Check it out-a great local place!

Quick seating, good food and service. Prices are decent and the freshness of the whitefish and honestly the lake perch was amazing. The chips and salsa were also obviously freshly made in house. My favorite eats on the island for quality and atmosphere and attentive,...More

The place was really buzy, but we were seated very quickly and the food came much quicker then I expected it. If you like a lot of room, this can be a little crowded at times.

Description
This popular Mackinac Island eatery features a celebratory horse theme starring the 1938 true life story of the famous champion thoroughbred, Seabiscuit. The former 1800's bank building was renovated to reveal the original brick walls and hardwood floors transforming it into one of Mackinac Island’s most popular watering holes. A unique and casual menu appropriately fits this cozy café. Seabiscuit fans rave about the deliciously fresh menu options. Discover your new favorite cocktail, the Mamosa. Open 7am until 2am serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and creative cocktails.
