While visiting Mackinaw City to see the historic sites, we popped in here for dinner during a downpour. O'Reilly's isn't as packed with tourists as another nearby restaurant, but that's part of what we liked about it. We settled into an old-fashioned wood booth and perused a menu with lots of offerings. I chose a shrimp dish while my husband... More

We stopped in here for lunch. The ambiance was very nice and felt like an Irish pub. But the menu is almost the same exact menu as next door. I was hoping for some more Irish food options. I got the Shepherd's Pie, and it was very good, not super authentic but still tasted really good. We also had the... More

The wife and I stopped here at O’Reilly’s Irish Pub in October 2016 staying in Mac City on our way to our up north honeymoon. It was about 6:00pm and we just wanted to stop in for a drink or two before dinner somewhere. Unfortunately the entire place smelled like fish and they didn’t have two of the whiskey’s we... More

We walked from our hotel for some local brew and food. We had the whitefish dip and fish and chips. Very good and staff were friendly and helpful!

We came to mackinaw city for the great turtle race on the island. Stopped here for dinner. I had a burger that was just ok. My wife had a small big ol' salad w a cup of chili because they didn't have chowder. Food was only ok. Decent place to eat. But we have had better

we went to have a beer and ended up getting dinner. I got the ribs, they were ok, I don't like peppery bbq sauce. my husband ordered fish and chips, he said they were very tasty! so many choices I wish I would of ordered something else but next time.

Service was speedy. We both had perfectly cooked burgers. Homemade chips were awesome! The decor was nice, but it was hard for the server to see inside the booths. They are connected to the Dixie Saloon. The credit card machine was incredibly slow. We go to Mackinaw City once or twice a year. We would return here. A bit pricey.

Take out while traveling. Ordered 8 oz fillet, med rare, it may be, although not a good one, a piece of beef tenderloin but it was coated with "Montreal meat" seasoning, meat more tougher than should be and the price $26 was way too much. Pretty much inedible.
