We were told to go here for lunch.....So we did ...the Place HAS NO ATMOSPHERE AT ALL..... There was a Table (ONE) sitting in the middle of the place and 2 small tables way in the Back.....we sat in the middle and saw the OLD...FLOORBOARDS THAT NEED TO BE RE-FINISHED..... people were eating out side it was in the 50s.....I had BBQ chicken wings , and my husband had a grilled chicken sandwich....it was VERY small for the 12.95 and My wings were good....BUT messy and when I ask for another napkin the waitress gave me a little wipe packet...and 2 little bar napkins....Guess they were being very conservative !!!! anyway...our LUNCH ended up costing....31.00 and we had water and iced tea...which I was charged for a refill....NO I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AGAIN....More

The service was lacking. After they seated us, they forgot about us. The waiter was apologetic and flustered. The food was delicious! Even though they overcooked my burger and undercooked my daughter's. I would definitely recommend the burgers. My son-in-law ordered the grilled chicken salad...and really enjoyed it. The blueberry cheesecake was disappointing. The atmosphere was pleasant. Would definitely eat there again, but not if in a hurry.More

The Fillmore is pretty good for a Manistee restaurant. They are willing to be progressive and try unique things like live music, sushi, and wood fired pizzas. Unfortunately you have to wait a very long time to get your mostly mediocre food. The rank-and-file employees...are pleasant but there's rarely a caring manager available.More

I've tried quite a few of their burgers and they all make me want to come back - the meat is a special mix and has that smoky point on taste...the pizzas are well thought out and taste clean and fresh... Sundays to Thursdays you...get a pizza and a pint for 12 bucks!More

The downtown of Manistee is very cool to visit, easy to access and you can walk everywhere through the beautiful Victorian city. The Fillmore is a quaint little place on that downtown strip and has very good food, at least the one time I ate...there with co-workers. They are a little on the slow side, but if you want fast food, look elsewhere and sit and enjoy the surroundings.More

My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch during the Old Christmas Weekend. It looked like a decent-sized place, but for lunch that day they only had half of the place open, the other side was "closed" and off limits. We were able...to grab a two-top, but also watched other groups come in -- and then leave -- for lack of available tables. For an appetizer we split the "Loaded Mexican Street Fries", which were rough cut potatoes with brisket, a cilantro lime pesto, jalapenos, and cheddar cheese. We really enjoyed it. I was also pleased to get a pint of Two Hearted on tap. My wife then had their classic burger with pepper jack cheese, and a side of truffle fries. I had the brisket sandwich (brisket on a ciabatta with cheddar and a roasted poblano pepper slaw), and for a side I had the sweet potato fries, which were delicious. My only beef (sorry) with the brisket sandwich is that they didn't offer any BBQ sauce to go with it. The ciabatta made it a little too dry. The service was good, the decor was nice. I'd like to go back some day for dinner and sample one of their specialty craft cocktails.More

We went to the Fillmore quite often when it first opened. The atmosphere was kind of like a local coffee shop that served drinks and food too. We found the staff to be fun and courteous. Over time the atmosphere changed. The staff became less...friendly, the food more expensive. It lost the feel of being local and fun. I am afraid it has become just another establishment competing for the tourist dollar.More

We were two couples who stopped in on a Wednesday for lunch. We liked the rustic bricks and decor of the building and all the old photos on the walls. Service was a little slow, especially since there were only 2 other tables with customers....Server seemed more interested in chatting at the bar. My husband ordered truffle fries but when they arrived they were not truffle fries. The server tried to convince us they were but they tasted exactly like mine, which were not. He did end up taking the extra charge off our bill. We also ordered the spicy chicken wrap but asked not to add the dressing. It came with the dressing on it anyway. My brie burger was good, although I wasn't crazy about the crispy kale they put on it. The rueben sandwich was good also. I think if we come to Manistee again we will try someplace different.More
