A throwback to a 1960's eatery. Friendly, clean, the best Reuben sandwich outside of New York City, and the best Mac & Cheese I have had in a long time. This will be a repeat for me.

I love coming here ever since I found out about it my sophomore year of college. Ever since I've gone there I get the same thing...the Augustus with veggie chips and a pulled Vanilla Coke. The soda is made with phosphates downstairs and tastes like an old-fashioned soda the sandwich is full of flavor. Once your done eating, make your... More

We stop here each time we are in Marquette usually for breakfast. The breakfast sandwiches with homemade sourdough are delicious and the coffee served in Donckers cups with the UP on them. President Obama visited and you get a painted rock at your table to indicate your order number so hard to pass up. Great local place open for well... More

We really enjoyed this place for dinner on our last night in Marquette, popular place especially around dinner time, but the wait at the bar was enjoyable. We liked the seafaring décor and the food was very good and plentiful ! Downtown accessible parking available but a couple of blocks away.

Doncker's has delicious soup and sandwiches. Everything is fresh and home made. A great place for a quick and wholesome lunch. Donker's has been in Marquette for many, many years. It was closed for a few years until someone with vision re-opened it, removed the "remodeled look" and brought it back to it's original ice cream shoppe look. But the... More

If you travel to Marquette you must visit this quaint sandwich shop. It also has a candy shoppe, old fashion soda fountain and ice cream parlor. It takes you a step back in time. Plus small gifts to shop for. Our food was excellent and the friendly staff and service was great! I will make this a definite stop everytime... More

A bit pricey, but very fresh with organic ingredients. The store is nice, and offers souvenir items and candy.
