This place was always busy, but it took us awhile to venture in. The service was prompt and attentive. We had the black bean appetizer, it was served piping hot in small comal with tortillas, cream, and cheese. It was very good. We had the vegetarian burrito and Indio Viejo. They were both very good, though the burrito was topped... More

The food was good, but not amazing. The menu reaches from the US to Mexico, but they offer vegetarian options (vegetarian pattys) that are tasty. Invest an extra 15 C$ to get curly fries, they are worth it.

This is a small, really nice place in the center of Leon. Try the traditional Nicaraguan food for a good take on these classics.

I had the filete de cerdo (pork filet) which was really tasty and the portion was big. But the side dish was tasteless and rice was too dry. Vegan burrito was okay. The service was really slow, even for drinks.

Went in for a late lunch and ordered the vegetarian burrito. Inside cold flour tortillas was refried beans mixed with previously frozen vegetable mix... To top it off, it was drizzled with cheese whizz... We ate it because we were hungry but would not recommend. They do have very cold beer though... Maybe their Nica cuisine is better.

I wish I'd read the previous review about the vegetarian sandwich before going to this place! Finding cheapish veggie food in Leon has not proved easy, so I thought I'd give this a go.... Indeed the sandwich I got was frozen peas, carrots, sweet corn and green beans coated in melted cheese... Strange combination and not what the menu said!!!... More

Believe it or not, even though delicious fresh vegetables are available all over Leon, our "vegetarian sandwich" was a blob of cooked frozen vegetables: corn, peas, lima beans and green beans. As if that wasn't odd enough, our mojito was . . . blended! Definitely not worth your time nor your córdobas.

My wife, son and I loved this place. Very friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Service was excellent. Owner usually present and has set the bar high despite the very reasonable prices. Choices good. We REALLY liked the fish. But the burgers were excellent too. One of our 2 favorites and we tried a lot of places over 12 days in Leon.

I ate here with my husband after reading reviews here. The food was bland, nothing noteworthy. I would not return here. On the other hand there is a family that does a delicious bbq on the road in front of the big church every evening. Also well peiced!

Walked across town to try this place based on the reviews. The beef burritto dish was half cold and half warm, mostly tasteless consisting of refried beans and slaw and "spirit" beef. So I was hugely disappointed. The beer was ice cold, and the home made tortilla chips and 3 kinds of salsa were tasty though. Service was kinds weird,... More
