Having been in over 50 Michelin starred restaurants, i have always wondered "yes, it's easy between no stars and a star, by how do they know if it's one, two or three?" That was until i tried the steamed lobster as a starter. It literally blew my mind. I have never tried a more tender and perfectly cooked dish in... More

First visit in 1999 is still in memory as one of the best dinners ever. Today the setting, hospitality, service, menu and wine selection are still impecable. Truly one of the greatest adresses in France. Yet, there is one important remark to make. The restaurant dishes seem to be stuck in time. All is cooked to perfection with the best... More

We had dinner in the evening and lunch on the next day because we absolutely wanted to try the "Truffe soys la cendre". I would recommend la Truffe to absolutely everyone including to those who think they do not like or cannot feel the taste of truffe. This is an amazing experience and certainly worth the trip!

Very close to perfection at this wonderful spot in Alsace. First, the staff was warm, attentive, and helpful from start to finish. We had the Menu Degustation and strongly recommend it -- all the different flavors and textures were sublime. From the amuse bouches to the goose liver to the lobster and on and on, each dish was amazing and... More

The Auberge is a culinary delight. We have journeyed here several times over the years and have never been disappointed. The dining rooms have been updated since our last visit, a little more modern. Their signature dish of salmon soufflé with light as air gnocchi was memorable. The sweetbreads were served in a pastry ring over a bed of spinach... More

What a beautiful experience...from the personalized greeting from the owner...to the view down the I'll river...the attached spa and infinity pool...the mix of euro modern...with the traditional earthy colors of the region...the stay was already a success before the dinner...walking over to dinner in the incredible garden lighting set the mood for our night...the suggested veal cutlets paired with a... We made our reservations to dine here about three months ago. We had a 12:00 noon reservation. We arrived on time and were welcomed and seated. We were seated in main dining room which is quite attractive. Windows on one side look over the river Ill. We started off with an aperitif and then we looked over the menu. We... More

My Husband and I had a wonderful meal here. We opted for the full tasting menu. Each course was absolutely delicious and the wine list was extensive. We have eaten at many 3 Michelin starred restaurants across the world and this is one of our favourite. The service was also exceptional. We will definitely return.
