Loved our lunch today at La Flammerie! We chose traditional Alsace dishes and wines and were thoroughly satisfied in. Both quality and quantity. The three pork cuts with sauerkraut and potatoes dish was huge and delicious with horseradish cream and Dijon mustard. The local cheese topped tart flambee was equally tasty and satisfying. Prompt service, great decor and English spoken.... More

We visited this wonderful restaurant on New Years Eve 2016, we found the food to be of the highest level, the staff were helpful & polite, and we would recommend this restaurant highly. We're looking forward already to our next visit, next New Years Eve.

We chose this place becaue it was higly rated on Trip Advisor. I think it was fair, not much more special than some of the other places we've eaten okay, not one of the bad ones. Kids had Duck with Pinor Noir/Honey sauce - they liked it. It comes with sauerkraut so I asked for friet instead. I had Munster... More

Nice restaurant - local cuisine. Excellent service - they noticed my wife did not like the 'choucroute' and offered an alternate for free. (TIP: maybe it would be better if the side dish was mentioned on the menu). Good choice of local wines at a reasonable price. Reservation handled perfectly correct.

Ate here with my 9 yo son. We had a wonderful meal - I had choucroute royale and he had a steak (he's a big boy!) - both fantastic in every way. The environment is very warm and comfy, service warm and efficient. Really I have zero improvement points to state.

The decoration is nice, suggesting a cozy, local atmosphere. We had no reservation but they managed to find a good place for us. The dishes were good (Alsatian cuisine), in large portions and we had a very good wine. We went twice in this restaurant, for dinner and each time the service has been effective but impersonal. In fact, after... More

After walking some hours through this picturesque old town, absolutely a beauty of d'Alsace, we decided to have a small lunch, like some salad and some Flam, a local speciality, we entered this place. The waitress gave us a table, the menu and came back after few minutes to take our order. We decided for a flammekuche with snails, to... More

This cozy wood-paneled restaurant specializes in the Alsatian flatbread called flammekuche. These are an inexpensive way to have a hearty meal since they can be topped with various meats, veggies, cheeses.
