Super friendly, recommended to me, establishment that certainly delivered. I could tell you about the tasty burger I had, or the delicious salad, maybe the awesome cider and the brilliant, regular music. But I think more than all of that great stuff, it was the friendly welcome from the engaging staff and the locals that I experienced that drove me... More

Stopped by during our road trip. We had chicken burrito and the famous Jack Daniels Burger. The burrito was huge, too big for my girlfriend to eat alone on herself. Tasted great and fresh. I had the Jack Daniels Burger. It was delicious and very different than any chain-food stuff. Great quality of the beef paddy - thick, juicy and... More

Have been here before and was hungry for one of their Jack Daniel Burgers. They did not disappoint! This is a quaint tavern out near Lake Michigan. The service was very good and so was the food. A nice relaxed setting versus one of the big chain places.

We enjoyed the drive to the Red Rooster Tavern from Muskegon State Park. Enjoyed the food and ambiance. Friendly staff. A great place to stop for Lunch, dinner or a snack while exploring Scenic Drive and beautiful Lake Michigan.!

We have always loved the ambiance of the Red Rooster which began as a roadside tavern with pickled red hots on the counter and cold beer in the cooler and the renowned Bob Benner would have the Arc floating fishing house at the end of this road if you headed straight North. There have been many adaptations since then (1940's)... More

That's what their slogan says and it refers to the fact that they're a neighborhood bar with great food in the middle of woods and next to Lake Michigan. Whether you're driving the Shoreline Trail around Lake Michigan or on your motorcycle or bicycle enjoying Scenic Drive (that's really the name of the road), it's worth planning a lunch or... More

This place is always had good food, and nice appeal. The only down side is the parking lot...when it's rainy or wet out, it's hard to walk across without getting your feet soaked. Love when they have Blue Tonic and Tight Fit in the the house...

Very creative, energetic and involved owners ...and it shows. Great atmosphere and vibe. Live bands there, special events (wine tasting, etc.), and also a great place to chill out and relax. Road trip up the coast, and I would recommend this as a stop along the way.

Thank Ken P
