My wife and I were visiting from out of town with a big group of friends. I had the fish tacos and asked to have them with grouper instead of tilapia-very good! They have a good selection of craft beer and Bell's, my favorite, on tap. The staff is terrific! They made us feel at home and we never wanted... More

WAY OVER PRICED! A hamburger, perch sandwich,(now you only get 2 pieces of perch not 3) 2 glasses of wine & tip cost $50.00 They should have given us the whole bottle of wine. Server was not helpful in the regard. Never going back!

Had read some previous reviews that the BLT wasn't as good as before. Just cannot understand why anyone would say that. Food and service were excellent, same place with great food that I've been enjoying for 20+ years. And the comments about it being loud, it's a fairly small place with wooden ceiling and walls, that hasn't changed. It's always... More

I have fond memories of feeding the ducks off the dock with bread ends from the restaurant. They have great bloody marys, fish fry and views! It is a historical landmark of North Muskegon

Came here for dinner with family and the place was very busy. Service was friendly but slow. Our group of five was unable to converse because it was so loud it was impossible to hear the people across the table. On the plus side, the perch sandwich was perfect and the Coleslaw was alright. I was a bit surprised that... More

Hoby Thrasher is the consummate concept restaurant guy. He's done a lot for the local bar, food scene, including buying the iconic BLT away from the last person who thought they could run a restaurant by getting a liquor license, advertising perch and putting out the OPEN sign. That said, the physical improvements Hoby has made to the BLT were... More

Met friends for dinner Aug 12. Food was pretty good (although service was slow and we watched people sit after us get food before us) but it was hard to talk due to place being loud. Kids were being pretty good and we actually commented that it must be because it was so loud. After being there for 1.5 hrs... More

We had two younger kids who were making noise but nothing obnoxious and since the restaurant was loud in general including crying babies at other tables what noise they did make was barely heard over the other patrons yet a manager approached us and told us to keep our kids quiet as there were complaints. Of course this was AFTER... More
