The restaurant is situated very nicely in this typical small town in the Dordogne. As we have a house in the area we visit every year. Never been dissapointed. It is a favourite with our kids. The pizza are big and really good, made with products. The staff has been the same for years now and very nice. They hardly... More

Definitely worth a visit. 9 people, copious quantities of wine and beer, pizzas all round - €165 !! Very good value and prompt service. Would visit again.

We are staying in St Cyprien so stop.for a glass of wine and a.coffee during the day. Always busy but nice to be able to just have a drink and not eat. Eaten here a couple of times and very good food. Great pork in mushroom sauce. Service is excellent and friendly. Wine by bottle very good and 2e for... More

Ate in this restaurant three times and loved it. The pizza was fabulous and the tagliatelle carbonara was to die for. Great portions and could only fit in a light snack for tea. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely spot to sit down at after a visit to the market. The food is good quality, staff are great, wine is cheap - I'd highly recommend it!

Nice location and comfy stop to refresh oneself. Service is friendly and prices on the budget side, would stop by again.

Have visited the area many times over the past 20 years. Always call in at La Taverne on The first Sunday am following the long journey down from the channel for an expresso or two before enjoying the Sunday Marche. We always visit a couple of times more for meals and more frequently for a restorative morning cafe or midday... More

We had pizza here twice; I enjoyed the Maritime one with salmon with which I ordered anchovies every time. Unfortunately I had a tummy problem the 2nd time I had the same pizza (granted, I have a sensitive tummy). But its a lovely, relaxed restaurant with friendly service, right next to the fountain - seating outside on the terrace. Generous... More

Centrally located and a good budget option for tasty pizza's. Visited twice during our week's stay in Saint Cyprien. Limited wine list but well priced. Would not recommend the house wine. Friendly service.

Went to La Taverne by the waterfall in Saint-cyprien in june 2015 had a beautiful meal with very nice food, found it hard to find non typical french food in the area as we had two children with us that were not willing to try duck or goose and that seems to be all that is on every menu in... More
