Drove a half hour out of my way to visit this restaurant because I love Greek food. Tried to place my order and they were out of two of the main dishes and one of the side dishes I wanted . When I then asked for a simple substitution from a regular salad to a Greek salad, it seemed like... More

Dear Mandolaleib, We are so sorry to hear about your bad experience. Thank you for driving out to dine with us. Our food is a unique fusion between French and Lebanese cuisine, we also offer a few Greek dishes. It is common for any restaurant to be sold-out of 1 or 2 main courses right after an extremely busy weekend... More

My wife & I were out shopping in Plymouth, MI when we decided to try Le George for dinner. Open table made our reservations & we menu sounded intriguing. When we arrived, the place was busy, with staff hurrying around care for guests. The hostess and our wait staff were great. The ambiance is reminiscent of a diner slightly dressed... More

I don't know how we missed this place. We visit the Northville - Novi area several times a year, but I'm certainly glad we found it. The food was amazing. There is a nice long list of appetizers and small plates to get started, and a wonderfully diverse menu of Mediterranean delights for main courses. The atmosphere is good --... More

Loved the hot, individual pita & garlicky spread! Wine listing with reasonable prices by the glass starting @ $7. A must try is the thick, lemony gazpacho. My companion enjoyed his fried falafel. I had stuffed leaves. May I suggest trying the (bulgar?) wheat instead of rice? It's really tasty and texturally interesting. We finished with rice pudding and an... More

Went to Le George for my birthday dinner and it was fantastic! The lamb shank was incredible. My husband got the meat shawarma and my mom had the artichoke chicken. We each loved our dishes. The service was pleasant and attentive. Prices were reasonable. George, the owner, even gifted me a glass of wine when he learned it was my... More

Walked in on a quiet night and noticed the regular local business men sitting at the bar eating alone. The food was outstanding Mediterranean cuisine. I had a chicken fattoush salad and my husband had lamb. It was authentic and the owner walked by and greeted every guest, ensuring they loved their food. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

We saw that there was no wait for a table so we decided to try it. We were very glad we did. I'm not sure why the restaurant wasn't packed, but I suspect it is because it is fairly new. I thought the restaurant might be French because of the name, but it is not. There were a lot of... More

Waited to be seated, once seated waited awhile before waitress took our order, then waited longer before food arrived. Very busy the night we were there, more people standing and waited to be seated. Not a very big place, seemed very hectic with the staff making endless trips back and forth, seemed alittle unorganized. Would try it one more time.

Le George is one of my all time favorite restaurants. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, gorgeously decorated by Ron Rea, the staff friendly and the food is AMAZING. I am a vegetarian and I absolutely love the tomato kibbey, vegetarian grape leaves and entrees like mujadra or falafel. I also love that George has a nice selection of... More

Saw all the good reviews so we thought we would try a new place for dinner. Made our reservations for 5 on a Saturday night. We were greeted promptly and pointed in the direction of our high top table that was attached to the bar and right up front by the door. We were waiting for the rest of our... More
