Petoskey is amazing and this place adds to the charm. Historical ambiance and a menu to drool over. So glad this is where we chose to have lunch. Everything came out superb, very flavorful, and the price is not bad especially for this kind of...More

Jambalaya was fantastic and the Parmesan whitefish - on the second try - was also excellent. Service a little slow, but waiter apologized and discounted meal and threw in a free dessert. We've had far worse service elsewhere with no apologies. We'd definitely go back.

Stopped in for lunch. Not small meal. Good sized no doubt. Excellent tasting. Not the cheapest place we've eaten. ....but no where near the most expensive. You can get burgers and sandwiches. Mostly it's a nice cool place to get a really cold beer on...More

We were fooling for a place to pick up some appetizers to take back to our hotel. The pulled pork poutine was delicious as was the wings and the hummus.

The city park grill is much bigger than it appears from outside, it was very busy .We sat in the bar area at the front window watching the crowds stroll by. The seafood chowder was very good and my husband enjoyed the white fish. It...More

The City Park Grill is a very nicely turned out restaurant with complete menu and a full bar. The physical bar itself is an antique made for the space by the Brunswick Company and it sits in front of a huge ornate back bar. It's...More

Description
City Park Grill, one of Petoskey’s oldest buildings, was originally constructed in 1875. McCarty Hall, as it was then known was a malesonly billiard parlor that offered cigars and “intoxicating beverages.” Today, City Park Grill maintains a loyal clientele with house-made cuisine, focusing on locally procured produce, meats and lake fish, an awardwinning wine collection and house-made biscuits straight from the oven
