The home of Doug and Marguerite Beers is simply beautiful. It is located at the top of a hill with 360 views ov everything around you - being the highest hill in the area. The house is decorated with a great eye for balance - both in space and modern and ructic pieces. In fact, Doug has built a lot... More

Superb setting in the foothills overlooking mountain valley and the near by ocean. An amazing setting, hosted by the perfect hosts...dinner served to group with gracious hospitality. An evening that can not be equaled.

You are invited for 6 PM and be sure to get there on time while it is still light and you can see the the beautiful vistas - mountains and coconut palm trees, and then to watch the sun set. Doug and Marguerite are friendly and you are welcome to wander around the grounds and open air rooms with arches... More

We spent New Years eve at the Castle Club for dinner with a group of 6. As all have indicated the sights, setting and building are amazing and definitely worth seeing. The hosts are very nice people and very accomodating. Unfortunately our food was only average. The fixed menu was obviously made ahead and the chicken ended up being dry... More

I don't want to say too much about Castle Club other than just go. It is one of the special places you come across only a very few times in your travels. It's a an experience that you don't want to miss.

WOW!!! We dined last night (on recommendation of friends) at the Castle Club which is about 20 minutes outside of Cabarete, high on a hilltop with amazing panoramic 360 degree views. First, the food was stellar, absolutely the best we have had on our 4 trips to the DR, innovative caribbean cuisine served elegantly in the unbelievable home of chef/owners... More

We just returned from Cabarete this morning. The highlight of our trip continues to be the Castle Club. Words cannot express the beauty of this place. This is a unique dining experience. It starts with the drive up to the home. The scenery is incredible and when you arrive for the first time, it is absolutely amazing. Doug and Margaurite... More

Imagine your own intimate, private party in a Castle with spectacular sunsets, wonderful decor, great ambiance, individual attention from convivial hosts, and ...Oh-la-la! the FOOD!! We had heard about the Castle Club from friends, and it exceeded our expectations. The menu we selected beforehand was Caribbean carrot soup, grouper with lobster sauce, rice pilaf, Thai salad and a cold lemon... More
