Always a great place for coffee or lunch. The garden is nice in the summer and it’s a good destination for a bike ride. The menu choices are always good, from the all day breakfast to the wraps.

My partner and I had been to frog Peak once for lunch, he got the Reuben, I got the Veghead. The pesto on the veghead was perfect on the rosemary focaccia panini, I dream about it, I wish I could eat it everyday. We were...able to make it breakfast this morning and my partner had the lox benny, and he said it was the best he’d ever had. I had the breakfast sandwhich as I was craving their bread. The garlic mayo was delicious, but I was missing the pesto and wished for some acid to balance the cheese/mayo/eggs. All in all this is a new favourite of ours and we look forward to the next time we get to enjoy a meal at Frog Peak ! :)More

I ordered the Belgian Waffle which, according to the menu, “comes with real maple syrup and a side of blueberry compote.” Unfortunately, the syrup was corn syrup and the “compote” was squishy blueberries. I’m very disappointed that this meal cost $15.50, especially since its description...makes it sounds much better than it is. Also, we had called 5 times (over a half-hour period) to order take-out and they never answered the phone.More

My husband and I drove here from Castlegar, where we were holidaying for a wedding. It was well worth the drive. I struggled to decide what to eat, everything looked good, but settled on the the Huevos Rancheros which were excellent. I don't remember what...my husband ordered, but he also mentioned it was delicious. We lingered over coffee for a while, and very much enjoyed people watching - lots of kids were running around on the grassy area playing. It was busy but had a relaxed, holiday-esque feeling. Definitely recommend, and we look forward to coming back when we're in the area next.More

Was hesitant to try this place after reading not-so-good reviews, but am always willing to as I know every place can have an off day. I should have listened to the reviews. I wouldn’t waste my time or money with this place as the service...was very poor and slow and the food was bland and arrived lukewarm when it should have been hot. The outdoor area was shaded, which was nice, but extremely noisy from the road traffic and was difficult to hold a conversation with the noise. Observed that mask-wearing was not strictly adhered to either. I also suggest that the owner try and improve from other reviewer’s suggestions rather than calling them out as a liar, just because the owner does not like the review. Lesson learned!More

Tried this place several times and leave disappointed. Will never return. Ordered meals that arrived lukewarm or cold when they should have been hot. Most recently we stopped by on Thursday and ordered two coffees and two cupcakes. Didn’t think they could mess that up,...but they did. The coffees were not the size we ordered so we were charged more than we asked for. One coffee was missing the espresso shot and the other coffee did not have the vanilla flavoring we ordered. The waitress was busy talking to other customers, none of whom were wearing the required face masks for these times, and as such she messed up the making. The total bill came to $23.64...for two coffees and two cupcakes. That’s outragious! Plus we could have been exposed to Covid in the process. This is an unsafe place when protocols are not followed. The cupcakes were only so-so: the icing was not edible and we had to scrape it all off. Sorry folks, this used to be a cute, quaint stop to grab a bite, but no more. Avoid it if you are wise.More

Wow, I went thru all our video footage from this day and all of our staff were wearing masks and following covid policy. We take this very seriously and find it upsetting that you would blatantly lie about our restaurant. Our policy is that if...More

This place was recommended by chef Nick from Nelson BC. What a cool place to eat. Quick service, varied menu and good coffee. Tried the huevos rancheros and a classic eggs benny. Very tasty and hot. Noisy, bustling and a lot of fun.

After several hours of cycling on the nearby Slocan Rail Trail we decided to grab a late lunch here, for no other reason than proximity to the trailhead. Our group of 6 all ordered various paninis (the Wally, Reuben or Melted Brie) and were all...pleased with both the quality and quantity. Judging by all the toys and play equipment, they go out of their way to cater to young families, although that wasn't of interest to us. Cost was in the range of $35-40 per couple.More

Really awesome, fresh, tasty, amazing outdoor seating, friendly staff. Came while visiting family in the area, would eat here often if I lived closer. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, sooo tasty!

This place is always delivering consistent fare - paninis at lunch are tasty but really it's all about the brunch! the Mexicana Skillet is by far the best thing on the menu. Caesars are nice, staff moves quickly, and if you come by in the...summer be sure to head for the outdoor patio and if you have the time - borrow their free rental bikes and head out for a cruise on the rail trial. so much fun!More

This place has such an amazing vibe. You walk in and feel welcomed immediately. The decor is fun and funky. It’s always nice to see an ewok hiding. I had the classic breakfast with sausage. I highly recommend the sausage. It filled me up without...feeling stuffed.More
