Minimalist coffee shop in Royal Oak. Bright lights, alot of seating, some delicious looking desserts. Visited with a friend. The soy chai latte was good and hot on a cold day. Friendly barista and quiet atmosphere to chill in.

Bean and Leaf has consistently delicious drinks and helpful baristas. The only issue is that the prices are astronomically high.

Had not been here in a long time but today was cold and Christmas shopping was uninspired. Place warm, staff was friendly, and the toasted bagel was a good lunch. Much more relaxed than Starbucks, which I needed today. Place isn't perfect but what is?

The atmosphere was pretty good for a cold night during the light festival, but the coffee was not that great. Definitely not the rich coffe you would get at Starbuck's or other high end coffee chains.

The bean side of the business is average at best, but I have historically enjoyed some of the best leaves (tea, I suppose) here at the Bean and Leaf.

Bean & Leaf had a lot of promise but the coffee was just OK. I'm not a coffee snob but the flavor was basic and that's what I always order, basic/regular coffee. The selection of breakfast treats: muffins, cookies was less then desirable and we were there mid-late morning. The atmosphere is fun and casual and no one ordered a... More

The Bean and Leaf Cafe is right on the corner in Downtown Rochester. The service is usually very fast and the employees are very friendly.

This place had a very hip yet cozy feel. The selection of beverages is not only unique but also generous. I ordered a Dirty Chai because I read about it online prior to visiting, from another review and it was sensational. My friend got some kind of coffee and commented that it was better than many places he had been.... More

If you are in a pinch for coffee in downtown Rochester you have about 3 options. This place is generally filled with OU students trying to study. The coffee is ok, but were I out I would tend towards dessert oasis or Knapps to get a cheap cup of coffee with locals. They have an excellent selection of teas if... More

I find it difficult to stand out as a coffee house at this point in time. What I can say about the Bean and Leaf is they do in fact stand out. The coffee is excellent. The service is high-level and in line with most any good coffee house. The location appears to be optimum, but parking in Rochester takes... More
