Ordered a "very soft, no browning" omelet and got one brown and hard all the way through. One bite. Had a funny aftertaste. Potatoes were hard and dry. By the time the waitress came around, I just wanted to leave.

Located right below the South Station of the A-concourse tram, Max and Erma's is a great place to have a bite before your flight leaves. The food is very good and fresh and I've pulled the manager aside and thanked him for having such good, friendly servers and bus staff.

We sat down at 10:30 and no breakfast :( Shared a burger - it was a bit charred but not inedible. Waitress was very good & attentive. Food came out quickly and the restaurant was quite busy. $19 for a burger & 2 coffees.

For lunch or dinner I think that this is the best value for a sit down meal at DTW. Good food, prompt service, and reasonable prices. Large portions so plenty to share unless you're really hungry. Located near gate A-20 Delta terminal.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat between flights. I just had an ordinary cheeseburger and fries with a coke. I was seated promptly and I was waited in by a waitress named Danielle. The food came out quickly and tasted great. What struck me as exceptional was the waitress Danielle. I observed her and noticed how pleasant and... More

We had an hour before our flight boarded so we stopped to grab a bite. Tables were full so we sat at the bar and we each had a beer and soup and village salad. They were as good as the Max and Ermas we go to outside the airport and I dont think the prices were much higher. Our... More

We decided to hit Max and Erma's for breakfast while waiting for our flight because Chili's was closed and being renovated for a new restaurant. The breakfast menu was pretty simple - I chose the egg sandwich with a glass of milk. The milk never came, the waitress was indifferent and I was still quite hungry after the pricey so-so... More

Max and Erma's is a very good "sit down" choice at the Delta terminal. The menu is large and varied. We liked the pickle chip appetizer. Service was reasonably quick.

We had plenty of time to kill as we had missed a connection the day before and weren't flying out until 6pm or later so we came in for a late lunch. My 8 year old wanted a place with pasta and there aren't many places in the airport with pasta on the menu. The restaurant seemed popular with adults... More

There are not many restaurants inside US airports that are worth the effort but I found this one to be a bit of an exception. Usually, in places like this, the service is maddening because you have a time limit for your flight and that accentuates any exasperation with wait times. But I found the service here to be quite...
