The Beirut is north of the Holiday Inn on Merriman Rd. It is in a small strip mall on the west side of the road. The staff are friendly and efficient. Our orders included Chicken Ghallaya, Mixed Shawarma, Shis Kafta and Flafel Sandwich. The portions were huge. The taste was excellent. The soup was also very good. The take home... More

Very delicious food. Good service. Near airport and hotels. If staying at hotels next to this little strip mall, this is a must. Wide variety menu. I will definitely return when in the area

We enjoyed the full variety on the menu. We had the appetizers, stuffed grape leaves, hummus, chicken lemon rice soup and the lentil soup. All delicious. The dinner salads were fresh and good portions. Dinners ordered chicken, lamb, sword fish. Desert ordered rice pudding, baklava, and a smoothie. All the food was delicious, good sized dinners. And the service was... More

I travel a good bit and get tired of eating the usual "travel" fare, so I asked the hotel staff for a something different. They told me to come here and be prepared for a feast. And they were right! I started off with the fried Kibbee, which was delicious. The ground lamb encased in wheat germ, then fried. It's... More

If you arrive early for your flight, I suggest eating here instead of the standard airport restaurants. Small but clean restaurant ran by local family. Great food at good prices.

I was looking for a late night dinner option while staying near the Detroit airport. The hotel restaurant certainly did not catch my fancy, but a quick check of Trip Advisor alerted me to this establishment, which was within walking distance. I could not have been happier! They offer a very large menu of Middle Eastern food, and my selection... More

I liked the food overall, but the price paid for a meal with soggy french fries and cheap diner style seating was just too much. Not my favoeite kind of place.

If you want to eat at a restaurant that has bad food, rude staff, and questionable operations then don't come here. In all my years of dining out rarely do I get treated like a family member. Beirut is a place where the staff, especially the one matriarch-like employee, will make you feel like you're eating at your favorite grandma's/aunt's... More

Food was fresh, but overpriced! Also, if you done in, make sure you DO NOT PUT YOUR EATING UTENSILS ON THE TABLES.. The amount of dirt and grease is so embedded, that you can scratch it off... Yep, my husband did that, which wasn't the best thing to see while trying to eat... So in the future we will take... More
