My husband and I split a delicious pizza with artichokes and ham and enjoyed it very much. Also enjoyed three appetizers among our group of 7 - peppers, caprese, and brussels sprouts. They were all great!

Bigaloria pizza has great pizza, wine and music. In the summer, you can sit outside and get some fresh air. It's right in the middle of all the action downtown Royal Oak too!

I came down the escalator from the TSA one day last November, desperate for food and drink, noticed the two Vespas, and fell indoors. I chose the Risotto Balls from curiosity ("how do you do that!") and they've improved since early 2016 when another reviewer commented (disclaimer, I cook without much salt). Then I had Proscutto e Grano (ham and... More

A friend and I stopped at Bigalora for an early Sunday dinner. We split a small salad and pizza. Both were very flavorful and it was just the right amount for two women. The salad was the size of a small dinner salad with fresh strawberries which were quite tasty, gorgonzola and walnuts over Romaine lettuce. The pizza was delicious--a... More

Nice atmosphere, but pricey. When I have to ask what all the ingredients are, it's not my kind of place.

The pizza is yummy (the clam and duck were both phenomenal and unique), but the real winners are their specialty cocktails. I had the caramel apple one which is pleasantly tart with a strong undertone of whiskey. Delicious. I also (naturally) drank some of my boyfriend's Texan Mule which married spicy and tart really well. Finally, prices are very reasonable--cocktails... More

I stopped in Bigalora on Saturday at 2:00pm when the restaurant was nearly empty. Was greeted and sat at bar. Had to then ask for menu. Placed order, and came out of oven and sat behind two manager types who were chatting and working on cash register stuff (but with no customers at the register) One saw the pizza and... More

Met with friends we see annually. Lunch was good and the decor was really neat. We didn't sit for long but I would like to have had more of the pizza. It was good!

This was our first visit and we were very impressed. The first thing you see as you enter the door is the wood fired oven and the old style paddles used to put the pizza in the open oven. Bigalora specializing in making thin crust pizza. The crust is outstanding. The menu is huge with 26 very creative pizzas and... More

I'm Italian, so if I'm talking about pizza you have to trust me. Here you can eat one of the best pizza in Detroit area. Really, very good pizza, great place, great service, great people.
