Ok.... we have always done the family get together at a relatives house. Never enough seating, ladies preparing the meal for hours and the hours spent washing dishes. Family food has always been great. Hard to believe this place did it as good... maybe better. The food is served family style. All of the traditional stuff with some Italian flavors... More

We were here on a Friday night. Our reservation was honored - when we didn't love our table location they were able to change tables for us. Friday was the start of restaurant week. My husband ordered the salmon which was delicious - because it was restaurant week a dessert was included. His cannoli was great. My entree wax the... More

Cancelled our group reservation as they told me on the second call that they charge a minimum spending amount of $250 for parties of 11-19 because they are on"prime real estate" and " people wait over an hour to get in". We were going for BRUNCH with no private dining room special menu or holiday involved. There are too many... More

Going to be brief and to the point. Straight ahead delicious food. Blackened prawns, great salmon and unbelievable Chicken and veal parm. Specialty Palomino and Bolognese sauces to die for. Make reservations if possible but a great bar to sit, eat and drink. Enjoy.

Everything was good!! We started with the Arancini balls which you just HAVE to order!! Then we had salads (Caesar and house) both very good and the Caesar was not fishy tasting. I had the Gnocchi with Palamino sauce .. Delish!! My husband had the Chicken Siciliano, and our friends had the spaghetti and meatballs and the chicken Marsala. Everything... More

While not being real familiar with the Royal Oak Restuarant scene, I had a couple of Restaurants in mind based on reviews. As I drove around, it became very apparent that my first two choices would have to be abandoned do to lack of parking, that's when I came upon D'Amatos. Right away I knew I had find the perfect... Although attached to D'Amato's, Goodnite Gracie should really have a separate review page. There are separate bars and separate entertainment areas. In any case, ending Goodnite is a big city bar with great mixologists and a hip vibe. One of the best bars in the area nad it has been so for at least a decade.

My husband and I went there for dinner. Good service, mostly italian food, tasty, prices a bit higher than average. They have specials on different days of the week when it's cheaper to order combi-dinner, with a bottle of wine included.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit. Service was excellent, as was the food. To our surprise, we received complimentary cannoli for dessert. Very nice, quiet atmosphere. We had surf and turf which was well prepared and presented. Both starch and vegetable were included with the entree, as well as a choice of soup or salad. Nice choice of wine by... More

My sweetie (whose favorite meal is Prime Rib Roast) and I went to D'Amato's for their Thursday special of Prime Rib for 2 with a bottle of wine for $50. The meal was cooked perfectly with very generous portions. The wine was palatable and the service friendly, attentive and unhurried. The only slightly off-putting note was the choice of background...
