This is a wonderful restaurant with a great menu of items which includes local fish. I had the whitefish and it was incredible. Service was excellent and the view of the locks, which is just across the street (hence the name of the restaurant), is great. A tip: park a couple of blocks down the street and you get free... From the hostess who first greeted us, everything was wonderful. Great Whitefish soup, Caesar salad, sirloin and Walleye. My husband had the Alaskan King Crab with his steak and it was delicious. Nice location across from the Locks. If I'm ever back in Sault Ste. Marie I will dine here again,

We stop here whenever we're at the Soo. The fresh fish is very good and we like the atmosphere. As the name indicates, there's a great view of the Locks. Trust me, get the whitefish.

I visited in September and this was the first place that I ate. I sat upstairs by the windows and wow, what a view. I ordered a whitefish sandwich and it was great, fresh and tasty. Server was friendly and engaging.

We stopped here on a Sunday morning for breakfast about 10:00. Had to wait about 10 mins for a table, although it was not busy. It seemed there may have only been 1 waitress, which seemed odd for a Sunday morning in this tourist area. Great location--loved the atmosphere. Right across the street from the Locks and lots of parking... More

Discovered this spot when we got caught in a rain storm. Sat on the second floor and got a cool view of the water and neon signs. Their drinks were surprising good and reasonably priced.

The breakfast was amazing: eggs, hashbrowns, and WHITEFISH with a choice of ways to prepare. And very good coffee. Right across from the Soo Locks and the visitor center, we had a great view of a freighter entering the locks on the way to Lake Superior. After breakfast, we got to see the finale as the freighter slowly pulled away.

My husband and I ate here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. It is right across from the Soo locks. I had the corned beef hash and eggs, and my husband had the whitefish and eggs. The whitefish was a little overdone. The portions were large. Service was okay.

We stopped here for lunch after touring the soo locks located directly across the street. We were a party of four and had decided on sandwiches that we could split. The BLT and Reuben sandwiches were very good and substantial. They didn't do an up charge for splitting either! The waiter was very personable and our food was delivered to... More

Across from the entrance to the Soo Locks the Lock View isn't just for tourists. Local people regard our whitefish as the best with our saying "the fish you eat today slept last night in whitefish bay". We prepare our whitefish and walleye many different ways: pan-fried, broiled, lemon-pepper, Cajun, deep-fried, Cajun deep fried, Cajun broiled, and lemon pepper broiled. We are more than family friendly and with two floors of seating; we can easily accommodate large groups! Open May- October!
